It seems like there are a lot of people here who like working with their hands, so share a bit about what it is you do/make.

I like working with various metals and have a soft spot for enameling and anything that involves me getting to pound some metal into something beautiful.  I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of any newer stuff, but here are some things from middle/high school.

Let's see some of your work  :)

Wow , I love that bracelet, how did you make it, i can sort of figure it out, sort of ,  kinda,  tell Me pleeease .  Now I have to figure out how to put up pics, and take pictures , and stuff. That stuff is all cool, but the bracelet omg love It, That would make a great master for castings, i think.  What I want to do is make a wax copy, or plug,  then  plaster it into a mould, melt out the wax, in an oven, then make the, casting .  I had some silicone moulding stuff here, but it went bad,or somthing, and f`d up when i poured the wax , next try will be from a wax carving, so it should go better,  awesome stuff you made , cool

Lee, that second one is beautiful! I've never tried working with metal, I'm surprisingly good at sewing though.

First thing I started making was these messenger bags, totally out of necessity. I was dead broke and my only bag shredded, so I dug out my mom's sewing machine and some scrap fabric, whipped up an awesome plaid and jean bag. I've gotten a lot cleaner and better about it, here's one of my personal favorites I made for my cousin a few years ago on her birthday. I'm actually looking to sell 'em, if anyone's interested.

This, albeit a ->-bleeped-<-ty picture, is one of the hats I make. I make them out of old sweaters mostly, my favorite-I don't have a picture of unfortunately- is from a green and black sweater I absolutely loved but couldn't wear anymore because it was...cleavage-y.

I make gloves, too. I make all sorts of crap, pretty much whatever I can mod and re-use (and hopefully eventually sell), but bags are my definite favorite.

You two are really talented.

Lee I love the necklace, don't give it to anyone but me. That way the other girls won't get jealous

My hobby is making handmade writing pens and casting resin for interesting and cool designs which is looking like a career which I love!

I've just moved to Devon to get back properly into weaving, something I've done on and off for 25 years - this is the only decent photo I have so far of something I've made, a Shetland wool scarf in log cabin weave (one of my favourite simple optical illusions):

The edges need work :(.

Holy crap Padma, that's awesome.
That must've taken forever!

Those are adorable. I always wanted to try those, I had a friend who owned the huge book on t-shirt deconstruction, but I knew I'd never wear it. Sucks that there's so little DIY out there for guys beyond stencils and the like.

Lee I love that necklace! I'm fond of working with metal as well. And Stacy those pens are really cool!

I like to do metalwork with welding as well as some jewelry. I've always wanted to be a blacksmith, I started building a forge and I have an anvil but I never got everything together to start doing it.

Anyway, here are some pics! (Sorry it is a bit pic heavy!)

In this pic I am wearing a silver transgender ring I made.

Wow, all really good craft works.

I only cross-stitch, once I get a new camera and after taking pics of them, perhaps I'll post 'em.

Ginger, those are really cool!  I've always wanted to try glass blowing.

Also, I have to ask.
