Troubled transvestite died after driving head-on into another car after his marriage broke down

A tortured transvestite was killed after he deliberately drove head-on into a another car, an inquest has heard.

But a coroner has refused to record a verdict of suicide in the death of Stephen Rockman, ruling that, while the crash was not an accident, there was insufficient evidence to prove that Mr Rockman had intended to take his own life.

Security officer Mr Rockman, 44, preferred to be known as Stephanie and was living as a woman when he died in the crash in December, 2009.

It seems pretty selfish to me to drive head on into another car, risking the lives of innocent people, regardless of your personal or mental state.

That being said it is sad that someone was brought to this level of despair due to their life's conditions and I'm sure many of us can relate to these feelings.

That being said it is sad that someone was brought to this level of despair due to their life's conditions and I'm sure many of us can relate to these feelings.

A young girl did that here after a girl she liked rejected her.  She survived, the other driver (and her daughter) died.  She has since been conviced of manslaughter and is in jail.

A similar thing happened to a guy I went to sunday school with a few years ago. One night he was out with a friend going to pick up some car parts when a drunk driver was speeding down the wrong side of the highway and hit them head on. None of them survived, his family has never been the same.

It seems only fair that she received some sort of punishment for it.
