So I went to my friend's house just to pick up something real quick and her father was visiting, so he was sitting on the couch.  When I walked in she introduces me "This is *female name* and her sister"  And the dad goes "Her sister, don't you mean his sister" and she was like "No." and it was really awkward because I'm not out at all here and can't be, but I was cracking up and it felt pretty good, except for the awkward part.

Do you think people will start guessing that you are trans because of how much you look like a male? 
I only ask because I'm in a similar situation.  I'm not really out.  but I have told a few people.  But like at school and such, when teachers or classmates see what I look like and then hear my voice, I wonder if they can guess or wonder if I am trans.

Yeah, good point. With your hair that short I imagine you're passing a lot, Devin. They'll probably start to get the idea sooner or later... when will you be able to be out?

Well my hair's a little longer now.  Here's me right now (I literally just snapped that pic with my webcam).



I won't be able to be out here ever since I'm teaching at a Catholic school, but I'll be done here after next school year and plan out going on T and stuff then.  But I'm out to my family at home and plan on getting in some RLE while I'm home for the summer (I'm leaving Saturday).

And even cooler-- my friend told me this morning that her dad actually argued with her after I left about me being a guy.  :-)

Devin87, you are looking great.  I can see how you pass, your shirt does the job for you.  What do you wear to teach?

Dude the same thing happened to me once! Hahah I worked at Walmart and went to a co-workers house to drink for the night with some other friends. Her mom also worked there as a department manager and was home with us but her dad worked all night and didn't come home until the morning.

My friends all new about me but it was really early in my transition and I slept in my co workers room with a couple of other people. When I was ready to go her like 300 lb dad was on the couch reading the paper and I asked my co worker if she could get my coat since I left it in her room. When she came back with it her dad looked up and threw his paper down and was like 'did he sleep over? does your mom know about this?' she was like 'yeah but it's okay he's really a she'. I was ->-bleeped-<-ting my pants at that point since he was a really big guy so of course I was going to be a girl. Hell even if I was a cisguy I would have pretended just to get out of that situation hahah.

Apparently after I left he told her that he didn't believe I was a girl and wanted to ask me to drop my pants hahah.
