I finally had my appointment with the doctor that my therapist set me up with and as I was hoping, I walked out with legit scripts for estrace, spiro and finasteride. I was nervous at first to talk openly about being TG around yet another person that I just met but, he seemed very caring and compassionate and seemed 100% on board with my goal.

He didn't have any experience in prescribing HRT but I guided him through common dosages. I was taking E injections and I wanted to switch to pills since it seems like the shots hurt more each time. He ordered blood tests to evaluate E & T levels as well as prolactin and others.  He did say he wanted me to see a specialist within 6 months to  look over everything. There is a gender clinic in Galveston so that wont be a problem.

I'm not sure if the therapist sent him a letter but I wasnt asked to sign an informed consent or anything like that. I also told him that I had done a series of ethyl alcohol injectios to destoy the testicles. He seemed concerned and said it sounded painful and that I should just have them removed if I want to get rid of them that bad. It was kind of funny the way he mentioned several times, "that must have hurt!". lol  It's kind of funny to see a doctor get a little squeemish..... 


So far, it has all gone much easier than I ever imagined.

legit scripts are awesome and so are blood tests! I had a few issues that were picked up in my blood work that if I hadn't could of been problematic. In a strange way I miss those times....good times!!!!
...well not the stressing over hyperprolactinemia and anemia parts :/

Basically some people have been known to inject high concentration unflavoured alcohol into their testicles. While it has been known to work ending up shrinking and hardening the testicles lowering testosterone production, the risk is very high even if one do everything right. And that's not counting the likelihood of doing something very wrong. For example, any impurities in the alcohol could seriously damages one's health. It's not unknown for the testicles to end up swelling to unnaturally large size causing great pain.

OMG that is a horrid idea!

While I certainly won't recommend it to anyone, it is based on solid medical practices that use a sclerosing agent to to shrink a tumor or mass of cells. All I want to say about the procedure (for public safety reasons) is to NEVER inject, drink or otherwise place in the body, any alcohol that is not fit to drink. Rubbing (Isopropanal or denatured) is VERY poisionous and will kill you or cause serious neurological damage.

Maybe, but they tend to do that with medical grade liquid and not vodka and neutral grain spirit bought from the local shop.

I've tried it... Honestly. I was unable to get any more hormone blockers for a time due to the illegality of what I'm dependant on. I used this as my last resort as simply hacking them out would probably kill me. I also abused my testicles alot when I was a teenager.

It hurt... Alot... like screaming for 3 hours, my testicles have decided scars in them now and an abbrent shape my scrotum dose not. The temptation is to continue but knowlege of how much it hurts made me flinch last time causing me to drop the syringe.

The technique was first used on lab rats as a non-surgical method of castration. using anethesia on small mammals is inordinately dangerous.

I really don't think you get much more pure than Everclear which is crystal clear and 95% pure ethyl alcohol. Being a powerful disinfectant on it's own, you also don't have to worry about it being steril. I studied this for MANY hours and I am also very knowledgable in medical science.

I have talked to a lot of people who have done this and the only real complication that I have heard reported was short term pain. I couldn't do it any more after about 5 or 6 rounds and it was only uncomfortable for about 30 minutes. The pressure buildup inside is the worst part. It didn't sting but felt more like right after being kicked in the crotch.

Again, I'm not advocating this to anyone. In my opinion though, it is better than other options if you aren't going to have an legit surgeon do it which IS what I would recommend !

I ussed to have a reflux still that I could get 198 proof out of. Everclear is 190 proof.
I still have a small jar of that stuff around here somewhere.

Complications arise when the procedure is not done right.

Right off the bat, you can get infections. A testicle infection on top of the pain of the alcohol injection sounds very unfun. But you know, we go trough such great levels of pain this doesn't surprises me. I can see myself a candidate for it if I had not began HRT.
