I filed for my name change a few weeks ago and my court date is July 13th...cool, I'm excited. But the problem is, I filed for my name to be changed to James Kyle..and now I'm kinda having a change of heart on the name. I'm starting to think I'd rather keep my same initials AJC so finding a first name starting with A and middle name starting with J, and I'm kicking myself for not thinking this sooner, before I filed for the name change! So my question is, is it too late? Do I have to keep the name I filed for or would the Judge somehow allow me to make a quick change? I don't know if anyone can answer or not, but any feed back would be appreciated, thanks

Call the court clerk and ask them what to do.  Though, depending on the judge, they may see your indecision as grounds to not allow the name change.
