Well, congrats.  :D

I remember the first time I went into the mens' bathroom. I was so nervous even though there was only one other person in there, who was a dad helping his son wash his hands, and probably didn't even notice me. haha

Grats man  :)
Yeah, I think that men care/notice a lot less than women, but it's still pretty scary the first time.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

So far I have been dealing with unisex bathrooms when I am out but tomorrow I am going to the movies with my friend and I sure as hell can't even think about using the womens room with 2 days facial stubble!

Awesome!  I used the mens room for the first time today, too!  This morning we stopped for lunch and I thought the lady called me ma'am so I was like "great, I'm not passing" and so I went in the womans but then two women opened the door and saw me washing my hands and went "oppps!" and went back out.  About 30 seconds later they came in and stared at me as I dried my hands and left.  Then about 10 minutes later, the say waitress who I thought called me ma'am said about me "I knew he wanted chives, but I forgot he wanted sour cream", so I think I may have misheard her the first time....

So then just about an hour ago we stopped at this rest stop on the Oklahoma/Arkansas border (probably not the best area of the country for a first time in the men's room) and I just walked right in, went to the stall, let it out slowly so no one would hear me, stayed in there a little longer so it looked like I was going number 2 and then walked out.  No one even looked at me funny.  It was awesome.  Although I have a feeling I'm going to be just as nervous tomorrow... (we're driving cross country, so I don't have any other choice but public bathrooms until I want to hold it for 13 hours at a time).

Congratulations on using the men's room guys. It will soon become second nature and the idea of going into the women's room will seem wrong and embarrassing. I'd like to share something I've noticed about the men's & women's bathrooms. For years I'd hear people complain about men's rooms and how it was so much more disgusting then the women's rooms. Here are some things I don't find in the men's rooms I'd see all the time in the women's...
- used maxi pad on the floor
- used tampon on the floor
- used maxi pad in the toilet
- used tampon in the toilet
- soiled diaper on the floor
- soiled diaper in the toilet
- blood on the toilet seat
- used pregnancy test on floor

Yes, there is urine on the seats alot, but I came across this alot in the women's rooms too. I don't know what these women were doing to piss all over the seats. Yes, the men's room can smell like urine, but I'd prefer that over seeing the things I've mentioned above. It's also nice to have toilet paper in the stall 95% of the time. ;D

I agree.  I would rather see urinals even thought I am not using them now.  No tampon machine or bins in the stalls to remind me that I still get the red death every month. Men are there to do there busy and leave, no or very little chatting.  I use a stall all the time.  I have changed tampons wrapped the old one tp and push it well in the trash bin, great there was noone else at the sinks when I left the stall.  My first time was when I asked where was the restroom and was directed to the men's so I went in.  This was in college building between classes so lots of guys in there many at the urinals, I walked passed the to a stall did my business, washed my hands and left.  I was shaking all the time I was there I think, but I now use the men's all the time if I am where I am not known.

Congrats! ;D The first time I used the mens bathroom I wasnt too nervous...but then again, I only went in there to wash my hands cause they were sticky haha. After that I was fine  8) The boys toilets at school are another story tho! I am usually always nervous when I use them! If I have to go...I will ask during class time so I dont have to see anyone else in there :P

Congrats, man  :)

The first time I used the men's room was in the middle of the night, when I stumbled out of bed and forgot I wasn't a guy lol

Devin, I don't think you need to bother pissing slowly or quietly. As mentioned above, guys don't really give a ->-bleeped-<- who or what is going on in their bathroom, especially not in the stalls. Guys go in there to piss all the time (for many it's hard to let it flow at a urinal - psychologically), or they just piss as part of the ->-bleeped-<-ting routine. So if that is the hangup - don't worry, guys don't notice and don't care, so let it flow freely :)

i agree, i heard a guy next to me was pissing hard and long XD also they use it all the time if the urinal is full so yeah it doesn't matter, just relax and enjoy letting it go.

i went into the gent again yesterday into a bigger one thought it be busy as it was in a big train station, i didnt feel scared as i did for the 1st time but still was a little nervous, went into the stall and left the door open (had to as i had my big case with me)

So here's some irony for you...
Yesterday I was at a restaurant and had to use the toilets. The men's was closed for some reason with a sign saying use the other one. I couldn't find other toilets so asked the manager if we were expected to use the women's. He said yes and be sure to knock loudly so that I wouldn't walk in on a woman :D (they were one toilet, private restrooms).

It was funny because there was a giant sign saying knock first- even though it had locks. So, I felt weird and kind of creepy using the women's, but I'm sure all the guys did.

rexyrex: btw just noticed your pic. You look hot, man! I'd so hit on you if I saw you out  :-*

Also I don't see any reason at all for anybody do to a double take about you being in the men's room. I think the manager would escort you in there anyways if you tried the girl's haha

At work the womans bathroom is so much grosser than the mens. A lot of women won't sit, but will hover and completely miss the bowl.
