I don't know if this is really weird and gross but whenever I pack I feel like I'm constantly aroused and ready to do something. And I'm straight, so it's not as if I particularly like penises (other than having one). Do any of you guys have this problem? It makes me so dysphoric bring horny because I have a penis, but then remembering that it's not real and can't do anything.

I get that. I think its because I feel more comfortable with myself and therefore my sex drive goes up. I feel kinda like I have ED because it doesn't get hard. Pass the cialis lol.

I don't really "pack", but I do keep a STP device in my underwear, and because it's kind of pressing on my clit, it did kinda make me feel aroused a lot.  but now I've gotten used to it, so I can't really feel it anymore.

just curious, how long have you been packing?  Maybe after a while, you won't feel it anymore either.

I don't feel it constantly, but I've noticed that when it feels like I have the right equipment I am a lot more...ready.  I think it's just the body going "Huzzah, we have a dick!  Let's do this!"
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

lol, made me smile. But yeah, I think it's about the same for me.

Also, if it causes you dysphoria to not be able to go from packing to play with your set-up, maybe you'd be interested in a pack and play or prosthetic?

here are two pack and play's I've been looking into, though I don't own either:

yeah I've looked at pretty much every pack and play but I'm literally in mortal terror about sex if it means I have to tell someone I'm not "all Ryan". I can't imagine doing it with a strap on or something.

I feel you on that, RyGuy :-\ It's just not the same. I personally still like to use strap-ons, but it's no substitution. It is better when your partner(s) affirm your identity, in and out of bed, but strap-ons still aren't for everyone. If nothing else, the arousal will probably diminish as you get used it, hopefully at least enough to make the dysphoria related to packing a little more manageable. Good luck
