I took my doctor a new letter and she accepted it!!! She wrote me the prescription right then and I got it filled this afternoon! She spoke with an endo and has started me on testosterone pills for six to eight weeks, at which point in time she intends to start me on three monthly injections.

I'm so over the moon right now!!! I can't believe how good I feel, and it still hasn't really sunk in yet. I can't wait for the changes!

Bloke or not, if your reaction is anything like mine you will be giggling like a schoolgirl and grinning like a loony for the next couple of days.   It felt like I had finally stepped through a door I had been looking at for a year or so.

Congrats Max!  Why are they starting you off on pills rather than going straight to the injections?

I envy you... Congratulations :'D. Keep off the booze and Tylenol till you're off the pills to keep your liver safe :'P.

I dunno why, that's just the way the endo wanted to do it. But it shouldn't be a problem, it's only short term and I very rarely drink alcohol. It's damn expensive but. 

It's so funny, I'll suddenly remember I've taken my first dose of T, and start grinning like a loon. I'm hoping things start changing quick!

Congrats, man!  I'd been reading the BS the doctors and therapists had been putting you through, it's awesome that you finally won and found a doctor willing to listen to reason and not their own agenda.  Best of luck with the changes!
