Lexia has been banned for 30 days following threatening pms to a moderator in the course of their duty, as well as abuse of the reputation system.
This kind of thing will not be tolerated. If a moderator tells you to cut it out, that's it. If you have an issue with a moderator, please take it up with me rather than continue to argue with the mod in question.
Furthermore, the rep system is not the forum to display disagreement with a moderator action.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

I'm curious as to why an announcement was warranted in this instance?  Isnt this something that maybe should've been kept between the 2 parties rather then on a thread for every member to view? just a thought

They tell us because some of us might get worried about the person in question when they cease posting.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I lve the fact that disciplinary action is done in an open manner. I used to spend a lot of time on another forum regarding "eunuchs" and they would just mysteriously ban people with no explanation.  Open discipline is not about trying to publicly humiliate people but lets other people learn from your mistake and makes this a better forum.

but the fact of the matter is that it does publicly humiliate the member........I see that lexia deactivated her account which may be because of she felt publicly humiliated

I'm locking this topic now, as it was originally intended as a public announcement, not a discussion. You're welcome to take this up with the admin staff by PM if you're not happy with their actions.
