My name's Tyler, and I'm new here (duh lol).
I've been having these feelings of becoming a female for, I don't know, maybe since 1st or 2nd grade. I still haven't decided whether I want to go through with it or not, I know, if I really wanted to become one, I wouldn't have doubts, but I just kinda can't help it. I've told my mom about these feelings (as well as a couple of internet friends on another forum) and none of them was really happy about it, and just clearly didn't want to talk about. One day, as I was trying to figure out how much the surgery cost, I came across this site. I debated it for awhile; I needed someone to talk to about this, yet, I just felt a little nervous about doing it. So, here I am, I guess lol.

Sorry if that's too much info o_O

Hey Tyler, it's fine, say as much or as little as you're comfortable with, we've heard it all :). Welcome, and I just wanted to say that it's perfectly fine not to be certain - it's such a big deal, and we have a lifetime of gender reinforcement to work our way around that's trying to tell us "stay right where you are - then everyone else knows where they are" but you don't have to pay any attention to that.

This is a great place to take your time exploring who you are, as there's such a diverse range of people here with different experiences.
