So I might be wrong, but I got the impression that my new therapist wouldn't make me wait the three months for the letter to start HRT. I'm getting really antsy. I've only seen her once, but also, my previous therapist said she would go ahead and write me a letter since I've been seeing her for a year (I switched therapists only because of cost).

I think I'm ready. I want my body to start changing to how it should be. I want the lower voice, facial hair, etc. I have some misgivings, such as psychological issues (depression, etc), acne, and hair loss, but those are outweighed by the positives I see for starting T like, now.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks...
so don't think twice, you'll end up worse than you've been

I didn't have to wait the 3 months for my letter, but I was also very sure of my decision and had a good support structure so I'm sure that factored in to the decision.

Good Luck!

Neither my son nor I had to wait 3 months for the letter -- he got his after 3apt & I got mine after 2 --- I haven't started T yet for other reasons but if you want to do it go for it
