If they are anything like mine, the buds will increase in size slowly.  The bad news is that they will still hurt and itch!

Get used to it, sore breasts are part of the course....

They will itch and ache, but believe it or not that is usually good news... The HRT is starting to go to work... The itch and ache generally indicates a growth spurt

Everyone is different so your mileage may vary, but your most significant changes will most likely be noticed about every three months or so

Yes... They're going to hurt, and they'll keep hurting. Check my ticker (in my signature), I'm that far in and they -still- hurt. The past few days have been more painful and tender than usual, just taking off a loose t-shirt seems to be a little painful.

I hate to be the one to tell you but I'm almost 6 years in and I still get pain from time to time.  ;D

Like everyone said, though, when they hurt you know that the E is doing it's work, making that little spot grow bigger and wider. It's a
wonderful process! :-)  You're blossoming!!!  As for other things, you might notice sometime soon that emotions seem sharper, more defined;
You can also expect your skin to start feeling different; You might get a glow about your face, too

Here's to your getting big'guns!

And watch out while opening doors.  I almost threw up on the spot that one time.

enlargement in the more general region surrounding the bud with a rubbery type of tissue. then the bud will branch out into it.

They will continue itching and hurting for quite some time.

mine started hurting when i was 10. took four years i think before i could touch them without it hurting even more. and they still hurt a little once every month. it's something every girl goes through, in order to become even more beautiful

i personally think mine are wasted on me, though.. never wanted to be beautiful in that sense

Had some months (5 - 10) that itched, nipples mostly and being pretty sensitive. Even walking down steps at normal pace, not hopping or skipping. Solution? Grab your noobies and make up for the bra I was not wearing.
Jogging at that time! OUCH! Not so appreciated to hold them for support in public - I did get odd looks :-) Sports bra worked wonders but also looking flat as a pan cake - can't have it all, um.
Having had to go off E for my planned GRS (disaster struck and I had to re-schedule, sob!) left my noobies as robust as a guy's. Now after going back on E, only  Estradiol valerate at present, so far no growth itch and pains at all. *But now they sure do like to be cuddled*, lots! now they not hurting. Yummy boobies if relaxed, um. Something to really look forward to for you, promis :-)

Typically, at the end of the second month, growth will become visible, supposedly. Skin changes should follow up soon, too. Mood changes should be kicking in
pretty soon, if they haven't.

BS,  not every girl goes through by  long shot. This site is first I ever even heard of breast growth hurting. as to in order to be more beautiful, nature don't care about looks, only functionality.

i heard about breast growth hurting from lots of other girls when i was younger, it's fairly common. but that about beauty might have been more than half a joke..

You can take minor painkillers to help with the pain if your dr prescribes them. Additionally, skin cream has helped me greatly with the itching. When I'm having a spurt I usually
use cream around my nipples and aureola, usualy before they even begin itching.

they will itch, they will be uncomfortable to sleep on if you sleep on your belly, they will grow, stop, grow, stop etc and even after a few year they can be sensitve to pressure. its a good uncomfortable  :D

My left has stopped hurting, but still itches.
The right is still doing both. I think the left is a bit bigger than the right, and always has been since things started happening.
9 weeks of HRT so far.
Actually compared to the chronic pain of a bulged disc for 15 years, it is nothing really, so I can live with it.
