So right now I just use a medicine spoon, which works great for me.  but I need it to me long.
Like at least 3 inches longer would be nice.  otherwise it's just not long enough and ends up dripping on my pants.

I was looking at the Travel Mate, does anyone know how long it is in inches?  I could compare it to my medicine spoon to see if it's long enough.

Also, for anyone who has ordered a STP or packer, how discrete was the packing?  This is why I only have a medicine spoon, because I bought it in person. 
but if I have to order it online, I don't want the mailing package to say anything on it that would make my family ask me about it.

I was really glad how discrete the package was when I ordered my binder.

You could get some tubing and plumbers tape at the hardware store to mod it. Or just get another spoon and superglue a section of it onto the original. Test at home first.

I kind of did something similar already because I melted some of a medicine spoon onto mine, it gave me about 1 1/2 inches more, but it's still not enough for me.  And, it took me two tries to melt the plastic just right, and I don't like playing with fire anyways.  So I'd just prefer to buy a nice, neat one.
if I used tape, I'd worry about leaking.  I'd want it to be a perfect seal, like it is when it's one soild piece.

I'm not sure where you're from so I haven't posted a link, but I got my STP off ebay, for about £7 including post and packaging, and because it's from ebay it just comes in like, a brown package thing, completely discrete with your name on the front.
I bought the whizz freedom I think it's called, its about 4 inches long, with a bit that sits against your body making it easy to use, I've never had 'spillages' you can also buy extension tubing if you want extra length
So yeh, just ebay it and have a look It's nice and bendy so it can easily be used in a packy or folded in your pocket, there's some youtube videos about it too if you want to see

I use gorilla glue to attach to tubing. Not pretty, but is holding up fine so far.
