so im going to jersey shore this week with some friends and im really concerned about what im going to do about my binding situation. theres 8 of us sleeping in a 2 bedroom house so theres no way im getting my own room. i wear my binder from the time i wake up til the time i go to bed, and what im worried about is what im going to do at night. i need to be standing up to get my binder on because its enough of a hassle already, and theres no way i can sleep with it becasue i have a big chest so its uncomfortable enough binding 14 hrs already. i dont know how i can get away with nobody seeing me unbinded and thats not an option. anyone ever been in a similar situation or have any suggestions? thanks in advanced.

I've never been in that situation before myself,
but why can't you just take your binder on and off in the bathroom.  If it's not really hot there, you could just wear a baggy jacket or something, and once you're in bed, no one's looking at your chest, they're all sleeping.

If possible, you could be the first person to get up in the morning so that you can go put your binder on in the bathroom before anyone sees you.

I agree with JohnAlex. My suggestion would be to take your binder off with your shirt on if it's possible... Considering your chesticals are larger than mine I am not sure if you are capable of doing so... In fact forget what I said and go with what JohnAlex said.

I have found that since I am large chested too ... that wearing an underarmour or whatever brand you want compression shirt with a large baggy t-shirt is comfortable for bed & compresses things a bit

Hey Micheal,
I slept around friends' houses quite a few times pre-op, and also shared a tent sleeping compartment with a friend for a few days too.
I'd sleep in a baggy t-shirt or button up, though I was C cup so that alone definitely wouldn't hide everything.
So while sleeping over I would have a large-ish backpack with me that had my clothes and stuff in. Upon getting up I'd pick up the bag as I stood and carry it in front of me against my chest on my way to the bathroom. Get changed etc there, nobody should think anything of it. :)

With the tent I'd literally have to wait until my friend got changed and left the sleeping compartment. Then zip it up and shove my binder on there. For that you'd have to be able to put your binder on while sitting at least.

Oh, I also shared an 8 person hostel room for a couple of nights [4 friends and 4 strangers], but luckily each bed had it's own curtain, so I just dressed behind mine after getting into bed.

Have fun on your trip, and don't worry about it too much! People are sleepy at night and in the morning, nobody pays too much attention to anything anyways. :p

I have a looser binder I sleep in on trips.  Tight enough to get me flat-ish, but things do shift a bit.  I'd say it's a size too large.  I'm also only barely a B cup, so that's probably not going to work if you're bigger chested.  It might get things tucked down enough to wear a baggy t-shirt over though and escape notice.

I would wear a good sports bra and a really baggy T-shirt to bed and change in the bathroom.

i'd take off the binder in bed if it's not too tricky to get it done. then walk to the bathroom with a pillow in front in the morning. people would just think i'm still half asleep, wouldn't they?

I agree with changing in the bathroom or in bed but I will add one thing. If you look nervous and suspicious, people are going to pick up on that quicker and easier than a lump or two under your shirt (it's true). Be confident, do your business, and everything will be fine.

hi i wear my binder 24/7 so i dont have this problem but i would suggest getting like a velcro binder or a loser one to wear at night and then change into a tri top or whatever you wear normally. also i find with myself that if i wear a tight shirt a baggy shirt then a hoodie or button down on top the bobbies arent all that noticeable.
