So I have:
A ten gallon tank dedicated to rosie barbs only. I got them from a friend, and as you probably know they act like piranhas. So they're staying there for now.
I have a new BioCube that has never been out of the box, which I intended for a reef aquarium. But now, I'm not setting it up because I want to save and use my money for my transiton.
Then I have a 55 gallon tank, which is my main display tank. In it I have 4 Discus, Silver Hatchets, Neons, Glowlight Tetras, ghost shrimp, two upsidedown catfish (that I never see) and all different kinds of Cory cats. My discus have been laying eggs almost every other week! But for some reason, the eggs never hatch :(
And lastly, I have a goldfish and koi pond in my back yard.
All this keeps me pretty busy with the feeding, water changes and all! But if my husband would let me I would have even more! LOL
Hugs, Mrs. J :)

I had two 55 gallon tanks (one fresh water the other salt water) for about 30 years, they both now have plants in them.
Nameless here for evermore!;  Merely this, and nothing more;

Hi Sarah, so you gave up on the fishies and you now have dirt and plants in the tanks only?

I only set up one tank (fresh water) after my last move, slowly the fish died and I didn't replace them.  Both tanks have been dry for so long I would not trust them not to leak, so now they are just terrariums.

At one point my brother had an entire bedroom dedicated to fish tanks, ranging from 10 gallons to 100 gallons.

Sarah, if my husband would let me, I would also have a room full of aquariums! LOL

I have a ten-gallon freshwater tank with tetras, danios, a betta (his name is Juni and he gets along great with my other fish), and two corydoras catfish.  Oh, and a plecostomus and a cherry barb.  I plan to upgrade to a 30-gallon tank after the wedding and the whole moving in process.

My neighbour had a wonderful tropical fish collection.   I used to go along and see it from time to time.   There is something wonderfully relaxing about watching the little fish swim about.

Yes, they're incredibly tranquil!  After even the worst day a person can sit down and look at those fish just peacefully swimming about, and instantly feel better and calmer.  That's wonderful about fish.  And their little fishy faces.   :-*

I love aquaria! In college I had 6 tanks up in my apartment: 1 5-gal snail breeder, 1 10-gal dwarf puffer tank, 1 10-gal freshwater community (platties, mimi cats, gourami, loaches, pleco), 1 20-gallon cichlid/community, and 1 30-gallon saltwater with a Hawaiian puffer and some damsels and hermits, I had to take them all down when I was dealing with a long-term illness, and now I'm living in a spare bedroom with no place for fishies. I miss them.  :(

I have a 25 gallon tank with a 10 year old plecostomus.  He is now Huge!  I was told where they are not swimmers, a 25 gallon was just fine.  Hard to believe he was only 2 inches long when I first bought him.

I know, right?  They grow faster than any fish out there, it seems.  My little Ninja ain't little no more.   ::)  He's so fat and sassy, he'll attach his mouth to the glass and instead of staying there like he wants to, he slowly sliiiiides down the glass.  It's so funny.     He's incredibly cute.

I can't even imagine a ten year old plecostomus, though.  That would definitely blow my mind.   :o

I  am thinking of getting an aquarium when I finally relocate permanently.

I would like to have a set-up like a guy I worked with had.  When he built their retirement house he had a huge marine tank built into a solid brick feature wall  so that it could take the weight, over 6' long and 3' high. Don't know what that would be in gallons, but lots.

I think I would like to try some of our native freshwater fish, galaxias, smelt etc.

Love the vid. Mrs. Johnson  :)

I have two aquariums, but I use them for a terrarium... I have an Iguana  :)

The Dr.s office I go to has a rather nice salt water aquarium that I just love and I wish I could have one like it some day  :)

I would love to have a jellyfish tank at some point.

Until then I'll stick to my little triop buddies.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love
