i know girls who are 182 cm so taller girls exist. But it all depends on the country for example America has the tallest average in the world and china has the shortest. I mean each country has different sized people and thats what i love about our world. And saying something because i only that and cats about our world ;D ;D Yes i am a creepy cat lady i talk to my cats  :D :D

6'1"

I used to lament about my height so much, but it doesn't bother me at all anymore. There's two other girls in my class the same height, and I routinely see other tall women. It's kind of fun to be in the tall club actually. We all know the shared hatred for low countertops.

Being tall is not an automatic ticket on the won't pass bus, which is what I used to think before I actually started going out in public and realizing that most people do not really give a damn how tall you are. Except maybe children, who live in wonder of a time when they won't be short, and who sometimes harmlessly exclaim "That lady is tall!"

Thanks. I'm 6'1" as well. This makes me feel better. :)

Very true. As well as genetics, I strongly believe it is down to diet, nutrition and lifestyle too. It is true that Western people tend to be taller and bigger than the Eastern counterpart. When we are born, our heights are pre-programmed but this can be varied quite a bit through the lifestyle we go through as we develop.

My parents, born and raised in China are not very tall, but myself, being born and raised in the UK turned me into a giant! Not too much of a problem in the UK, but my height stands out everywhere when I go to visit Hong Kong or China and all my relatives mades comment about my height when they see me, much to my annoyance. Perhaps my build would have been quite different if I grew up in an Eastern culture.

That avatar is staggeringly cute, Kairi! o_o

I'm about five nine. I'd find that more upsetting, but I found it too depressing to measure myself during my teens following my growth spurt, and had convinced myself I had to be at least six foot. When a friend measured me while taking my sizes for new clothes, I was amazed at how small the figure on the tape measure actually was. I'll always be a tall girl, but I'm the same height as Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Mariah Carey! That's not too bad. :D

That's not ridiculously tall.  I have a cisgendered friend who is 6'1" and wears heels quite often.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

Despite some sampling biases, countries in the northern Europe show highest average adult height in the world. The average height of Chinese people is not shortest.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height

Generally, average height of northern China is as tall as people in the north America.

On average, young South Koreans are about 12 cm (4.7 in) taller than their North Korean counterparts, clearly showing the importance of nutrition in height.

Just do it.

I'm 5'8
I love my height, i'm shorter than the majority of men and slightly taller than the average woman.  Most women I encounter would prefer to be 5'7-5'9

I must say, your profile photo is very cool.  What a pretty cat!   :)
Thank you, that's my cat Luigi.  His brother was prettier... however, his brother got run over yesterday morning and died in my arms.  I'm still sorta in shock... he was my child and my best friend =(

Ugh, don't say that Vanna, my cat's been missing for 3 days. >.>

I'm 5'5, though before my forklift accident I was 5'6. I thought I was still 5'6 until I had an argument over me height when a nurse measured me and she proved I was 5'5. My Dad is 5'7 and my Mum is 5'2. My little Brother however it seems has shot past us all to 5'9. I wish I could see that, but I haven't seen him in almost 11 years :(

Keep your hopes up... My cat in the picture, Luigi, got lost for a month when we first moved to Portland.  I spend hours a day for 3 weeks looking for him, posted signs, ads, rewards and anything else you could possibly imagine.  Finally I gave up and assumed he had died because the city was so new to him... so I flew back to Mississippi to spend Thanksgiving with my family.  I was temporarily living with some people at the time until I got established, and as soon as I got home they called me and told me my cat just walked in the house out of nowhere... after 3 weeks of missing.  Cats are bizarre =)
