God today SUCKED!!!!!!! A week and a half ago I interviewed for a position within my company at a different location that I got passed up on and found out via email today. Found out a coworker that I enjoy has two forms of cancer and will not be returning to work. Dad hospitalized for chest pains. Had to close early due to rain.

All I want to do is go to bed and wake up tomorrow and start over!!!! Of course all of this happens the day after therapy and my therapist is fully booked next week. Sometimes I wonder why everything happens in a snowball effect!

Sorry to hear about your friend with cancer.  I hope your father is better.  I have trouble seeing the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes too.   Hang in there.

I found my solution to all of the stress in my life right now.

I have a benign tumor in a muscle in my back that I scheduled to have removed on Monday.  Doing the surgery gives me 13 days of paid time off from work to relax, rest, and just plain unwind. Plus as kind of a jab at work they had one weeks notice that I was going on medical leave.

I know there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, I'm a realistic optimist which helps me greatly deal with work stress and GID. One day I will be a beautiful unique snow flake but for now I am moisture forming in the summer sky.
