Dancing.  After a few hours of that nothing matters.  :)
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

Watching old Disney movies with my girlfriend, knitting, watching the Food Network/Animal Planet (Seriously, it's like insta-happy just putting either channel on), being around animals, painting (sometimes, when I'm not too busy attacking the canvas), cooking...not really winding down, but I love singing for an outlet. I start getting really bitchy when we don't get band practice every week.

those three things are exactly what I was referring to when I said I "let things happen". literally everything I've ever done high is contained in those words and I don't even own a cat.

hahaha That's awesome. I watch so much tv (also with my cat) and I probably take at least 2 showers a day and that's really all I do. Hanging out with people is cool sometimes too. That's funny that we do the same stuff.

heavy metal is soothing. meditation, studying occult texts, ghost hunting, camping, soccer, watching anime, online gaming, and weightlifting. but my fav is a tea cermony japanese style on an open fire out in the bush. or a nice stormy day and laying in the backyard in the rain watching the lightning. yes im a lil crazy
things dont change, they merely rearange into that which they already are.

Hahaha, me too.

Honestly, I'm the lamest person in the world. I sometimes draw or write, but usually, I do this. Go online, read stuff on forums, read fanfiction, watch shows online.

Sometimes I work out.

Bah. I have no life :P

Wow, apparently we basically have the same hobbies.  Weird and funny  :P  Haha, and it's awesome that you said "read fanfiction" cause now I feel a little less dorky...or less singularly dorky anyway  ;)

Yep, definitely one of my favorite pastimes. Writing it's a joy too!

What I like to do to unwind is to go hiking (the scenery and getting away and thinking is really nice, as well as seeing my dog so happy), listen to music, and boxing (I'm hoping to be able to either buy or borrow some equipment). Also chatting or texting with the woman I'm talking to since, unfortunately, things are long-distance at this time.

When I'm feeling down I also like to cuddle with my dog, though she's actually not big on cuddling.

Sometimes I also like to watch a movie just to kick back as well (opposed to just because I want to watch the movie).

I've been able to get myself back into watching HGTV, which I can stare at as intently as all the food shows I used to watch. But I don't want to be hungry all the time so I had to cut out watching food all day. Now I'm back on HGTV all day, or DIY if I've already seen what's on HGTV. I'd love to decorate or renovate a house. I've never had the opportunity.

Playing video games on any console relaxes me...but nowanddays it's mainly on my PS3.

I tend to go work-out, go for a hike and train in the martial arts to relax me. I know, usually physical activities are not the 1st thing people think of when it come to "relaxing" but I always feel 10x better after a work-out session than I do sleeping or just sitting around.

Then I guess if the mood is right and my girlfriend is up for it, we get down to doing what mammals do best.  ;) That always makes me feel relaxed and more like a man. She makes me feel like a man. Hellz yeah!

Go out in the forest.

Photography.

Driving around and taking roads I've never taken before just to see where they go.

Daydream.

Sit in the shower for 40+ min or take a hot bath.

Read in bed at night.

Write.

Organize things  (drawers, closets, whatever - for some reason I find that relaxing!)

Organizing ftw! I do that too. I alphabetized my girlfriend's 200+ dvd collection once out of boredom.
I like going through old things, too, like my desk or drawers at my parents' house. It's interesting to me, especially finding crazy-old stuff I'd forgotten about.

when my gf is around we usually lay in bed and watch episodes of family guy on netflix. But when shes at her police explorers meetings(like she is right now) i use my homemade lightbulb vaporizer my gf made me to vape some weed then pack a bowl, smoke it, play COD and when im done with that ill put in moulin rouge and be mesmerised by it. haha keeps my anxiety down when gf is away. (: now im off to go do whats above lol

Haha, glad I'm not the only fanfiction reader. ;) I spend most of my free time online, so there's that, and browsing forums, researching things, watching films and TV shows online... I also read actual books, and I draw and paint. I spend time hanging out with my cat.

If my best friend is bored at the same time, I go and visit him, get high, and watch Star Trek or something like that.
