Just curious, how close are you to what you see in your mind to what you see in your mirror? Changes seem so slow over the years, then you see a picture of yourself and suddenly there is the change  far from complete, like half a world away, but still change!!!

I'd say I'm pretty close. Maybe about 80-90% satisfied with what I see in the mirror. I still have bad days every once in a while of course, where I feel less confident and that number drops.

I am there, actually past there.  I am amazed at how I turned out without ffs.  I never would have believed it when I first started out.  I so did not start out this way.  Now if I was just 25 pounds lighter and 25 years younger.   OK I'm happy with who I am.

In a few days ill be 64. im intersexed. & my facial looks are so far from how a woman looks ,  that the mirror for me is , i dont need one to see what i look like because  i know what i looked like some 50 years ago & that would not change . my looks have to be accepted for what they are & leave it there.

I have other details./ things about me that make up for my failings & lack of.

i.v had to over come many things to get where i am now , if my acceptance had to be based on my looks , then i dought i would ever be accepted as a woman ,most likely not ,

Being intersexed is my saveing grace. so for me because im intersexed that has helped me in more ways than my looks. so that being the case .

My therapist has reassured me that facially I look female, so I just have to accept that I am my  own worst critic.

Body wise things are moving along nicely,  with the start of a bit of fat distribution to my hips and bum.  Boobs are getting there slowly and I have noticed a slight size increase over the last month or so.  At 57 I will be happy with being vaguely "generic female", as film star looks are obviously not going to happen.
