Just wondering if anyone knows any good ways to hide it like by make up or clothes etc.
My one isn't like huge but it is one of my male giveaways. :/

Mine is much less noticeable if I don't put my head up, so I pay attention to keep my head level or have it slightly downwards :)

I've heard (but not personally experienced) that as you work on your voice and raise your larynx up, it helps hide the Adam's Apple. I don't know by how much, if at all, but I've heard it works.

I've personally never had an Adam's Apple that stuck out. But it seems like a good tip.

Remember that some cis-gendered women have them too. My older daughter is one of them.

Personally, for me I ignore my AA.  It does show and as lisbeth said some women do have them.  But for the times it bothers me to have it show I use scarves or turtleneck shirts/ sweaters.

Mine doesn't stick out like Pikes Peak, but it is noticable.  I heard that make up can hide it partially by downplaying it.  I am not an expert at make up so I can't be more specific.  Good luck with whatever you choose to do about it.

Annoyingly, mine does resemble a spiky mountain =(
I REALLY want to get it shaved down. I wonder if anything else can be done because mine is really really big.....

If you figure it out, tell my daughter. She'd love to know how to do it.

Only way is to have it shaved off. It seems a "pretty minor" op - done by a competent, experience surgeon.

One caviat... If you use your voice professionally--a singer, a voice actor, possibly a public speaker--get your voice insured before the operation. You could lose your profession if something goes wrong.

the caveat to the caveat is that the insurance may not cover injury that occurred as a result of elective surgery...

I know that a policy I had some years back related to an athletic tour I was involved with had specific language about what was considered a covered injury precluding further competition and what was not covered...and no, not all disability coverages for specialized professions are equal...

+1 on that method...I also noticed that as I put on a little weight, that method was even more capable of helping it to hide.  I never bothered to look at really old pictures to be able to make a comparison on whether the voice/larynx concept was a truism...not that I have that many pictures from that many years ago (I have NEVER liked being captured on film of any type).

I will try this as soon as my body stops putting my metabolism into extreme over drive  :) :)

Mine will protrude quite prominently if I'm not careful. Training your voice is a good idea anyway and you seem to be more inclined to raise the apple up and inward. Years ago I started practicing pulling mine in more by raising my neck in a straighter posture, but I do have to think about it every so often or it drops again.

I love to wear turtleneck t-shirts in the summertime. But as with any girl, it's good to dress to emphasize your best features and draw less attention to your worst features, adam's apple or whatever.
