Hi to everyone, My name is Stacey I am 21 from the UK, I was born with a male body, I have been living as a female for 2 years now and I have recently received an appointment to possibly start hormone treatment. I have had surprisingly few problems with coming out mostly thanks to a very supportive girlfriend. Major issues have been my family who due to their upbringing and social clique are having a very hard time understanding or accepting any of this and a couple of staff members at my university who I think are trying to undermine me as subtly but frequently as they can due to their own prejudices/countries of origin.

Anyways I am very happy with how things are and I hope I can help out others with the experiences and knowledge I have gained and possibly make some friends as unfortunately unnecessary social isolation is an issue for me as I'm sure many here can sympathise with.

Hi Stacey.  Another Aussie here, welcome aboard.
I am a bit isolated living in the country, and Susan's has been a Godsend for me.

Have a good weekend,   Karen.

Hi Stacey;

I'm out here in Canada. Lived in the UK for a few years and my wife is from there. I'm glad you found your way here. I live in a rural place, a long way to any major centre so this is a great site if you are isolated whether geographically or socially.

I'm new too, but everyone has been great here.
