Sorry if this has been posted somewhere, I've been googling it and can't find it.

Bet it's going to vary between jurisdictions, with it being pretty pricey in NYC, but a lot less in upstate.  Local courts often get to set their own fees, and I'm sure NYC needs the money.

Is there maybe a local number I could call, information or something even, that'd give me all the county-related specifics and such? One of the things I hate most about living in NY is living in a small town upstate that isn't NYC. Because it's hard as hell to find any information online.
