I don't know how close I am to starting my RLE. I'm 2.5 months into my HRT and the physical changes at this point are not yet visible.

I consider myself to be part-time, and I go out en femme as much as possible. But when I do go out en femme, I still use breastforms. Part of the reason is to complete the look. Part of the reason is that they make me feel closer to what I should be.

For those who are full-time or have gone through (or are currently going through) the RLE, do you use breastforms? Or, do you do without?

Years ago when I dealt with the early days of transition, I simply wore a padded bra...never used breast forms.  Being slight of build, there was no need for them...a little bit of a gel bra and I was good to go as long as I chose my tops carefully.

I agree with ann onymous, that's what I did too. However, you might be able to get away with nothing at all- I do all the time.

I have thought about the nothing approach, too. At this point, I'm not so sure I want to do that.  But as I mentioned, my RLE is probably months away. I might have better confidence by then.

I used many things.  Padded bras, gel bras, light gel pads just to fill out.  Some girls have used forms to give the fuller figure, but things can go awry.

I use forms other wise I get too depressed from having nothing. I use a gel to prevent them 'departing' if you like I can pm the details and suppliers. But most of the good on line shops advertise the forms and the glues.

I was going to ask this same question.I think I'd feel more comfortable wearing my C cup forms as I'm 6 foot and fairly broad chested. That being said, I doubt my boobs will grow that large and am worried that people seeing me will see me lose a cup size or more overnight, if I start RLE wearing forms.

No forms for me... didn't go full time until they started to become a bit more noticeable, and then I bought a padded bra.  Still can't fill that bra naturally, but hoping it'll get there someday!

Couldn't imagine having to wear anything that requires any sort of adhesives.  Adhesives (even band-aids) give me blisters.

I use Holister Medical Adhesive for the C-cup forms I got from TrueKare. At 6 feet tall myself, smaller forms look out of balance, to me.

Yeah, it is a bit depressing to wear them instead of just having them. But, to me, they're better than nothing.

Padded bras work wonders, there are also forms that are advertised as "enhancers".  As your own grow, you could switch to progressively smaller "enhancers" to balance it out.

when I first started the RLE I used chicken filets all the time, now though I tend not to as my breasts are starting to grow large enough to fill my bras on their own amd my skin is starting to become intolerent of them I tend not to wear them anymore unless I'm wearing a black top which might make me look as flat as my ironing board so I might consider popping the filets in then.

I used breast forms in the early days and into my RLE until I developed more substantial breasts.  There's nothing wrong with breast forms or enhancers, many many women use them for various reasons.  If they make you feel more comfortable, or confident then go for it.

+1.  I've been full-time since April, but I only started HRT at the end of March.  I wear the forms (B-cup sized).  If I'm wearing something low-cut, I wear enhancers to give myself a bit of "cleavage".  I'm starting to fill out now, though... I'm an actual A-cup now.  In certain situations I'll go out without the forms (braless, too), and sometimes even without the wig.  I seldom wear makeup on weekends, but I ALWAYS wear it at the office...

I wear bras that fill the breasts a bit while they aren't decently sized. I see nothing wrong with it, since it gives me a better presentation.

Funny thing is... I went out today to get hair extensions (check out the new avatar!), and it wasn't until I got down there (almost 2 hours from when I left the house!! which was a few hours after getting dressed!!) that I realized I'd forgotten my breast forms, lol!!  So upon entering, I immediately asked to use the washroom, and simply removed my bra.  Hehe! (new avatar coming up momentarily...)

Colleen! You look amazing! I post fairly infrequently and normally i wouldn't post on something like this but I am amazed at how good you look in your new avatar. Not just your hair but your face.
