I just need to share because last night was the best passing moment I've ever had.

I went to a gay club in Philly (Woody's for what it's worth) with a group of my friends who are all extremely butch and masculine lesbians. We were going to the bouncers to get inside and I went in line with them not knowing what was going on. A male staff immediately yelled HEY MAN the men's line is over here! and pulled me out to get patted down.

I seriously just can't believe it. I don't get out much in the LGBT scene, besides my youth groups where everyone knows. I wasn't looking forward to last night because I thought I would be read as a butch dyke especially with all of my friends around me. I never expected to pass as a male yet alone be immediately read that way by the staff! I even got hit on by a couple guys but I'm regrettably not gay so that's all that happened ;)

passing ftw!!!

Awesome.  :)  Good on you.  From the way your posts go around here I suspect you carry yourself with a lot of masculine confidence.  (I'm going to take on the world.  All b**** better get out of my way.)  Even if you don't always feel that confidence.

I'm sure that had plenty to do with your passing.   :)

haha thanks. I don't know about my posts but last night my "masculine confidence" came in the form of some strange blue liquor so...

Those are my favorite passing successes... those potentially humiliating instances that make you rock out inside and know, unequivocally, that you've made it.

Congratulations! ;D

Zoe I can't imagine anyone thinking you were anything but a woman! I'd be the one embarrassed to read you otherwise for fear of looking like a moron.

"I'd like to say Congrates, as well...but you and I haven't exactly hit it off too well..."  ???

"A simple misunderstanding I am sure..." "Passing is very important to US...I have been 'passing' for almost 15yrs now...So honestly as a veteran, I don't use THAT word anymore..."

"Your confidence, Ryan, is what is going to ghet you ahead in your life's endeavors...go for the gusto...and 'Grab dem Bulls by tha Ba!!'s' "

"You are young, bright, and have a direction in mind...[these are all compliments by the way  ;)] "

"...and like you, I am not a Gay-male, nor a 'Butch-Lesbian...but because, some individuals, know WHO we were in our 'past-life; that can be how we are viewed by them...' [Ergo] we can experience frustration on our behalf...'"

"It's gonna take some time...relationship wise...but if you are confidant in/with yourself, you shouldn't have any problems...take it slow dude, and it'll come...for sure...!"

"So you are in Philly...is that where you are going to school? UofP is my Alma-Mater..." and, "I used to frequent many a clubs, 'straight, not Gay/Lesbian' down 1st street...but this was a while back..."

"The only thing with 'passing' is now, WE  have to pay, when before [we] in our past life-form didn't have to..."

"I am sincerely happy for you and your 'milestone' Ryan...[truly]...keep posting with your journey into 'Manhood' "

"One other word of advice...ghet a pair of 'hand-grips' they cost about $5-7-10.00 dollars at any sporting goods store...and work on improving your hand grip/strength etc..." "The biggest dead give-away for f2M/ m2F, is their hands!" "For m2F sometimes the hands are 'manly looking' and for f2M tha hands aren't 'manly' enough!"

"I've seen a lot of f2M men with very small-feminine hands...I have been working out for [Umteen] years...so my hands are pretty masculine in content...and make sure your hand-shakes are firm and done with confident when job interviewing...this is a definite plus...alrighty now..."

Peace Out Dude!

i go to school and live in canada, but my parents live in the philadelphia area. i don't leave for school until tuesday.

and definitely on the hands. i've met so many guys who have full beards but their hands are a dead giveaway (to people who know what they're looking for, of course). i was lucky to have been born with enormous feet and hands for a faab person... my hands are more than 8" from palm to tip and i have a 9.5" span (piano player lol) and my feet are just a different story altogether.

;D "hahaha, on tha feet...mine are military...so you know that is a whole new story..."

"Canada, I lived in Buffalo...right down tha street from the 'Bridge' use to bike, on many  ocassions to Niagara Falls...NO B-$#!T...it was a lovely ride..."

"G'luck on your travels Ryan..."

"...and yes, we are blessed to have good genes and hormones, as well, for presented as male...WE ARE tha lucky ones..."

"I always knew that I was 'more' male than feem...at a very early stage in my life Ryan...having that extra-male gene helped I guess..."  ;D hahaha

"Your parents are in acceptance of your choice, I am assuming...that is such a 'positive' thing that most don't have the pleasure of enjoying...you are now part of the 'elites' "

"Congrates" "I return to the East often...drinks on me for sure!"

Peace Out Dude!

LaPaptio, you appear to have blocked and sent your nasty message to the wrong person. Thanks though; the parts I could make out were mildly entertaining.
