Congrats, "ALL JOURNEYS START WITH A FIRST STEP" I hope you enjoy more of them in the future. I still remember my first foray too. Such a great feeling!
Did some Christmas shopping last week (dressed) and planning to do the same, bargain hunting in the Sales with my girlfriend/partner, next week...

What a great experience - it only gets easier.

I am envious.  This has to be a big accomplishment and one of my goals.  If one can accept their self,  I think one will have the confidence to blend in with everyday people.  I could never pass but I don't believe that is the point.  Yes it would be easier,  but there is so much more.

Alyssa dear, Try grocery shopping. It is fun. I personally can NOT shop for clothes, jewelry or shoes while enfemme. There is no way my income can support my desires. OMG!  I NEED every pair of heels I see. "If the shoe fits, buy a pair in in every color." You may now be a "Shopaholic."

Jillieann Rose

Did someone say shopping?
I'm more than ready. ;D

And the next time, and the next time and the next time ... ;)
Once you start your hooked.
And before you know it you will want to go fully time and so hate to go back to a gender neutral or guy mode.

Jillieann, I already correspond with someone here in my city who is going through a similar situation . He/ now fast becoming a She . As such, she is experiencing a world that was closed to her and  "SHE" is also realizing that the Drugs she once depended upon are no longer required and a whole NEW WORLD is at her feet ! ;D ellen

So I'm going to be silly and respond directly to the title.

So...if you finally went shopping fully dressed how did you get away with forgetting a shoe or maybe even your trousers?  I try to make sure I'm dressed all the way before stepping outside, I don't want to forget something important such as my shirt.

Oh my goodness no.
:o
Once I could go outside without a shirt but not with these girls. ;)

I wish i had the courage to go out but am still a closet dresser
  •

Jillieann Rose

I wasn't courageous, I was petrified and almost didn't go.
:embarrassed:
What is the worst that could happen to you caseyaustralia?
And will it be the end of the world for you?
If not what do you have to loose?
Just be safe about it. If you have a friend that will go with you that is great.
I didn't so just went to the mall during the day when there were lots of people around.
That way I didn't stand out so much.
Good luck to you.

Hi Casey,

Australia is a very easy place to go out. People are very relaxed. I've never had so much as a boo. I'm in Adelaide SA and I know girls in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and soon Hobart, and no one has ever said they have had a problem. Just takes the first time.
