Just wondering how many T-guys actually get SRS...

Sorry should've worded that better. What I mean is do you plan to get bottom surgery with todays technology.
Even in death, may I be triumphant.

Yes. In both removing female parts, and creating and/or using what I have to make a more male appearance. I rather have something that, while not as good as the real thing, is not what I have right now. Who knows where the surgries will be in 5+ years, too, so, I'm hoping for the best.

No. I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever growth I get.

I'd love to but I don't see being able to afford it since I really can't afford even top surgery.

As long as bottom surgery keeps looking as horrible as it does, I have no plans for it.  I don't care for the fake stuff either, but at least it works for what I want it to and I can still have full feeling down there without nerve damage or any other complications that can result from surgery.  My g/f is not unhappy and very supportive, so I figure why bother?  By the time they get something that works and looks right, I doubt I will be young enough to care or want to waste the money.   As it stands now, I got lucky with top surgery so I know I won't be able to afford bottom unless things change in my life.

I don't think the options for bottom surgery are too bad. I'm just comfortable with what I've got.

Can you just not?  There are guys here who have had bottom surgery and you are basically criticizing and shaming their surgery choices.  You are entitled to you opinion but can you keep such negative things to yourself?  You could just as easily have said something neutral and non-inflammatory as "The results aren't up to my standards for myself."

and FWIW I've seen some amazing surgery results.  I don't really want it for myself (at this point) but more power to guys who do want it and go for it.

This.

Answering the OP's question, if I had the money, I would get bottom surgery. However, seeing as I'm 16 and haven't done HRT or top surgery, I don't see me getting it done for a long, long time.

Hi Jigsaw,

I hear what you're saying but got to agree with Andy. We do have guys here who have undergone meta and phallo and are happy with their results. And there are good results out there.
Remember that there are guys for whom bottom surgery is not optional regardless of what they end up with. When speaking of surgical results, these are peoples' genitals we're talking about, so a little sensitivity goes a long way. And I'm not speaking just or specifically to you, Jigsaw, but we have guys here hesitant to share info about their surgeries and outcomes because of these types of comments. Again, this has been going on way before this, so not speaking specifically to you but to everybody.

I'm planning not to. At least, not for several decades. Although FtM bottom surgery has improved a lot, it's still just not the same for me. I'm thinking that over the next 50 years or so, as transsexuality is better known and more time has been spent improving various methods, it may become something I'll want to save up for. If that happens, I'll want to do it before I die, but for now, I know I wouldn't be happy with the results, and I can't afford it anyway. I'll just have to settle for whatever growth I get from T.  :)

I am sorry if my opinion is offensive to anybody out there.  It was not meant to offend anybody, I was just giving my personal view on it.  I have not seen every surgery out there and I am sure there are some that look good, just as there are some that look bad.  Everybody is different and everybody's views will be different.  I was answering the OP with my opinion that is all, which I thought would be seen as such.   If somebody is happy with their surgery, appearance, or whatever in life that then I am happy for them.  I wish I saw more positive images.  So again, sorry if I offended anybody, just stating how I felt personally based of what I have seen on the internet.

I don't plan on it, it's not something I feel I will ever need. Of course there may be times I wished could have one but i'm really okay with whats there.

I plan on getting a meta with a hook up and implants. Plus getting all the extra junk removed.

Yes but I haven't decided which surgery I want just yet (meta or phallo) and who knows what sort of progress they will have made by the time I have the coin together. But I don't care how many jobs I might need to work in my 'spare time' or what age I am when I eventually have the cash for the surgery - I will have it because for personal reasons, I'm one of the guys that needs to do it.

For me, I will not feel complete or at peace with myself until I have my own, flesh and blood, frank and beans. One just needs to be realistic about the results that are possible. And while I know that having a penis doesn't make me a man, at the same time the thing I have felt missing my entire life is just that - my penis, and while T is making the little fella more into what he should have been all along, he needs to be free - all the extra stuff around him needs to go.. I only hope I have the balls (pun fully intended) to post my story and results to help persons making similar decisions in the future.

You can still get a phallo after getting a meta.

I have seen really good results lately from doctors overseas in Siberia? I think? If I hadn't seen those pictures I would still have a really negative opinion of it but I think the surgeries have improved over the years.

If I had the time and the money for it, plus the money to make up for the loss of work for each stage of the surgery I would consider it, perhaps.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.
