Saw this on TV

I hate the fact that I have to go though all these surgeries and will have a scarred up body. I was feeling pretty down about it the other day. And was feeling envious of cis guys, then I saw this on TV. This guy lost a bunch of weight so he ended up having a DI with nipple grafts. I found it comforting to see a cis guy with a similar chest.

thats good to know, also a lot of guys with gynocomastia get peri-aureola to remove excess breast tissue.

LivingInGrey

There are a lot of guys in the USA that opt for removal of Gynecomastia. Some of the "after" pics I've seen look just like you guys after having your chesticles removed.

wtffff ??

It really is interesting to know how many cisguys have similar chest issues. Few people are born with that perfect beach body you see on every movie, show and commercial, and those are the people with the money to fix their body's "flaws".

Think about how many guys you actually see topless compared to how many you don't see topless. There are a lot more guys who are self-conscious and avoid taking off their shirts.

Good to see some cis guys with non-'perfect' bodies as you say Synkronic,
tbf as a member of the public (regardless of trans) I wouldn't look at these guys twice, if I'd never heard of top surgery or transgender I'd just think 'They have scars, so what' Move on.
Hopefully the rest of the world will see the same for trans guys after top surgery :)

I thought I made a reply to this earlier but I guess it didn't go through.

Great topic, Sharky.  I've ever a couple pictures of non-trans guys with DI-looking scars before from gynecomastia surgery.  That's probably why my doctor didn't seem phased by my request for medical clearance for one (didn't know I was AFAB).  Especially after I told him I had lost a lot of weight.

Looks like he was obese and lost a lot of weight.  Got a body lift/tummy tuck with a DI-like procedure.  I've actually been considering a body lift due to my excess skin, but most of the results I've seen have been for women.  Glad to see this link posted (thanks LivinginGrey!).
