Well, it's sort of startling at times when just that seems to happen.

Also, you better be on good terms with her, lest you will experience some nasty dislike of what going on... just a thought.

I used to hate mine but since a long time I don't anymore --- I actually love her though she's long, long dead by now.

Anyone had some similar experiences being well in HRT?

I've always looked more like my Mom than my Dad. And after 6 months on HRT, I definitely see more woman than man in the mirror. And She is very much like my Mom. 6 months ago, I'd look in the mirror and barely see me in the mirror. I'd see myself staring though a stranger's eyes. Its kind of exciting/cool/weird/amazing to me. But it comes with this feeling like my old male self is slowly stepping out of the picture.

How could I? She's had several plastic surgeries.

Yeah it's creepy I always resembled her it just took it up a notch. annoying because we get on each others nerves for that reason.

Very much very scary.

I was looking through some old pictures of my mum and OMG i looks like her twin in Shelley mode. Freaked me out a bit, so i'm thinking once the HRT starts kicking in, i'm going to look very much like her in her younger days. Which isn't a bad thing i guess.

It only took about 9 months on hrt to see my mother in the mirror. In fact I look more like her than my sisters do! She was the enforcer of the gender stereotypes and I still have issues with her. That said my mother was a beautiful woman so I could have done worse.

Not only do i look a lot like my mom at the same age, i look almost exactly like my older sister, with minor variations and one major one (height).  The first time my mom saw me she thought i was my sister at first until she noticed my height.

I'm starting to, and I hope to see more of it.  Because at the moment, I look a great deal like my youngest half-sister on my dad's side, and I don't want anything in my life that reminds me of her.   She's one of the worst people I've ever known.
