"So, apparently there's some controversy now about Cher's only daughter/now son, Chaz Bono, being on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" for their upcoming season.  In fact, there's actually a petition online now people are being asked to sign in hopes of convincing ABC to keep him/her/it off the show.

To which I have to ask: what the heck is the BIG deal??

Oh wait, I know what the big deal is: according to those against Chaz's appearance, his being a transgender is something that shouldn't be brought up or discussed on a family show because... well, because, apparently, by having Chaz on there, kids will either be (a) confused, (b) ask too many questions about sex, or (c) get smacked in the face by Chaz's prosthetic dick and be scarred for life."

Precisely!!! 

Watching fat people dance trying to beat the widow-maker is almost as much fun as watching NASCAR hoping Dale hits the wall again.  And where exactly is the 'star' in all this?  And that's devoid of the TG deal.

As long as Chaz keeps his d**k in his pants, your kids should be just fine.

We have our own version of the rotten thing too. I prefer to call it, " B grade celbrities doing basic dance steps."  Unless there is going to be stripping, I can't see any organs being flaunted.

I'd be more concerned for the writer's children due to his language anyway. If he uses language like that in a public forum, goodness knows what he gets up to in private.
