One time when I was at a summer camp, this girl told me I looked like Kenny Rogers. Still not sure what to make of that lol.
When I first got online, I used to go to chatrooms a lot. There was this one dude I was talking to one night, and things were getting a bit...interesting...then he suddenly typed back accusing me of being a man, saying that he'd never heard a girl talk like that, and I kept insisting, no, I'm a chick. He didn't believe me and logged off.
One day a couple of years ago, I was talking with this friend of mine at the time who's a guy. We were talking about some car trouble I'd had and I mentioned about how I had considered getting some anti-seize for my tires, so it would be easier to get the lug nuts off if I had a flat. And he just stopped and stared at me and told me he'd never heard a woman talk about anti-seize before. Well, I guess he still hasn't, lol.
Several months ago when I was looking for a new place to live, I had called this guy that had an ad in the paper for a house. He called me m'am a couple of times at the beginning of the conversation (and it was definitely m'am, not man) and I asked several questions about the place and then toward the end of the conversation he called me young man, then suddenly stopped talking and there was a long awkward pause. I thought it was really cool, even though the sound of my voice wasn't quite passable (since I got called m'am at the beginning), something about my speech mannerisms did pass.
