I wish I knew something about Arkansas to offer you. All I can do is say good luck on your transition, especially doing it in the South. Also congrats on overcoming your anxiety about posting.

Hi bolsillo, welcome to susan's

Your name is in Spanish. Hablas en espanol?

sprouts

Muy poquito.  I had an awesome Spanish teacher in High School so I can actually get by okay, but it is far from eloquent.  I speak it very rarely, but its amazing how her method of teaching has allowed me to recall so much.  Are you fluent, jainie?

Ive always liked pockets and buttons, and I really like the Spanish translation for pocket.  Plus, I like to think that Im "earthy" and I love the color green, too.

Thank yall for welcoming me!

Did your Spanish teacher use the TPRS method?

@bolsillo, Si tango fluides en espanol y portugues tambien. But it takes me a minute to focus for lack of use. I'm a languege nut. I'm getting close to being fluent chinese and japanese. I'm learning them together.

You know, Im not sure what the name of the method was, but we did many physical movement associations and we acted out sketches.  It was memorable and fun.

Wow jainie, you're multilingual!  Very, very cool!

Welcome from the Even  Further  South, can't go much further than Tasmania!
It's a big step, but it will get easier as time goes on. You seem to be doing fine so far.
