Hi Janis

Welcome from another old gall.
To answer your question...I think you should talk to your loved ones.
Tell them the truth....when they hear that you have been in the closet for so many years, only for the love of your wife, they have to admire you.
At least, that's what I do, I couldn't do it, so, you're a lot stronger than me.
Take the last hurdle to become who you really are.
You were so altruistic for so many years, it looks fair to me that the time has come you live your life the way you want.
I know, it's hard to come out of the closet, but, we all had to do it, and there is no easy way to do it.
But, when your loved ones are accepting you as you are, the reward is priceless.

Good luck honey, you can't hide forever.

hugs
Annette

Janis,
That is great.
Loved once are usually the hardest to tell and you never know what there reaction will be.
Just keep moving forward one step at a time and you will make it.
Hugs,
Jillieann

    Hi Again,
I have been doing very good with my doctor, been on hormones for three
months, and feeling a lot better about myself., my nipples are feeling a little
sour, but the Doctor said that is fine knowing that everything is working.
    Well get back to everyone.

Its good to hear everything is going ok. Congratulations for your daughter too!

If I were you, I would sit them all together and calmly explain about your situation. How you have felt trans for all of your life, your lovely wife's support and how finally you can be who you want to be. I would wait a while, until the euphoria surrounding your daughter's expectancy has died down.

I'm sure they are good people and will accept your choice  :) Good luck and all the best

   HI  Again,

I would like to know how long for the nipples
   to stop hurting?

   Thanks, Janis
  •

Rita

Probably never, once in a while you will hurt =P.  The intense feelings and sensitivity is heightened and prominent as your breasts really begin to bud and grow.  Now that the growth is normalizing and slowly adding the pain has subsided.  Its no longer a week by week issue for me.  Just a every so often pain associated with growth,

About a year into hrt my nipples stop hurting all the time. After that until 2 years in they just hurt occasional for a week or so at a time. After 2 1/2 years they haven't hurt in months.
But each person is different. They will stop hurting after awhile.

Until your hormone levels go a little wacky  ;D  A sudden influx of estrogen has been known to make for tender partings.
