I hate this. After 6 months I'm probably about an A-cup but one of my best friend is already at about a B-C cup. we started HRT at around about the same time. Now I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong. I dont know. Do sports Bras affect breast growth? I know it's kind of a retarded thing to worry about and breasts dont make the woman. grrr...

It's quite natural to worry, so don't worry :). Everyone grows differently, and at a different pace. Best not to compare too much, just enjoy your own journey x

They will probably grow intermittently if they are anything like mine.  Mine are quite different in size too, the left is a lot bigger than the right, although it does catch up a bit at times. ???  All part of life' rich  tapestry travesty I guess.

Yes, everyone develops differently and what size you get is really luck of the draw... It's the same with cis women, some get a BA, others are rather proud of their lil' boobies

I knew a girl that worked in a bikini shop who was very depressed about her A cup breasts... She saved her money, took some time off and then one day she showed up with a rather perky pair of C cups

Back in the early 90's when I was working as a chauffeur and long before the movie* came out, I drove a group of gals from the ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE club... They were wonderful, attractive and vibrant women who were proud... And they gave me an incredibly awesome tip when I dropped them off  :)

I don't know, maybe give the HRT a bit more time while you explore your options?

Thanks everyone. I know my Mum was small-chested but she is a tiny woman. I cant say the same for myself though. well, except that I'm 5'5. Well, whatever happens, I'm not going to get implants. It seems a lot of women get them and then have them removed 10 years later. Do Sports Bra's affect breast development?

I'm sure sports bras don't affect breast growth. You're just six months into a process that takes women 5 years to happen fully, wait and see :). Also, it's a red herring comparing our breasts to our mothers', unless we know what their breasts were like before they went through pregnancy and childbirth. Also also, small breasts are cute ;D (as are medium ones, and large ones...)

At almost 2 years, I only had a 32A cup size. Each of us are different so don't compare yourself to anyone. Not all genetic women are the same. And no, sports bras don't affect the growth. Just be patient. It takes years for the hormones to take full effect.

Sometimes you don't even need to know what they were like before pregnancy to find anomalies!  Case in point, my mom is a 34B and my sister is a 36C, and my sister is a skinny dancer (not THAT kind of dancing... what's wrong with you people? ;) ).  My stepmom is one of the most flat-chested women you'll ever meet, and of the four girls she gave birth to, two are D cups, the other two are DD, and none of them are at all overweight.  The two who are DD are the girls she had with my biological father.

Breast growth, as I've learned, is more variable than dalmatian spots.

The rule of thumb that you'll be about a cup size smaller then what your mom and sister is just a MYTH (->-bleeped-<- urban legend much? lol). I've talked to alot of ts girls that have been on hormones for years and say it really comes down to how your body accepts the hormones & also age plays a big role in development too but not always.

When i first started estrogen years ago i saw like zero boob growth and now years later i'm growing nicely. I'm currently a B cup and still growing!  :D

wait and see what happens, everyone is different, sizes, speed of growth. give it time and see - the they said in the movie, 'take 'em and they will come' (maybe that was baseball?)   ;)

six months on hrt is compareable to a 12 year old girl. it takes about 4-6 years to completely develop into the body of a woman. just be patient. you have an a cup now, be glad for that. you can wear a pushup bra if you really want your breasts to appear larger. many women are just a cups. big breasts can be overrated anyway.

i know breasts dont make the girl, but what is a "nice" size to be at? im scared because all i hear from guys (im not asking them im eavsdroping..) that all they want a girl to have is double d's, my friends has them and she says it painful.... and its stupid im worrying about this but what is a "average" size? >.<
  •

Padma

Pah, who needs a guy who only wants you if your breasts are size x anyway? And I know lots of men (and women!) who appreciate a finely turned small boob (I am one such...) - men especially talk all kinds of crap when they're together that they don't necessarily feel on their own, so pay no heed. If you listen for long enough, you'll also hear the opposite: "more than a handful is a waste" and it's just talk. In my experience, one of the things that makes someone attractive is being content with themselves anyway, so just be in your body happily, be happy with yourself, and you'll get plenty of attention, cup-size regardless :).

Hehe I want my hair to grow more than my chest ><

I'll be happy with a B-cup. ^_^

But thanks everyone. My biggest concerns were my development and my voice. 3 people have said my natural voice is fine and my British/American mixed accent only helps to make me sound more feminine. That and some foreign truck driver called me Ma'am today when he was asking for directions to our shipping department. So, my panic attack has been averted. Thank you ^_^ *hugs*
