What's in your bucket list?

I'm sitting here wondering what to do. I've just finished the last two items in my bucket list. One was to read War and Peace. The very last was to write a novel. Now, I've finished up the list of things that I wanted to do with my life. It had been several pages long just a few years ago. And now, it's done.... or maybe the novel's sequel could be added.  But, other than GRS, what's in your bucket list?  I need to figure out what to do with the rest of my life... I suppose that's the first item to go on to the first page of my new bucket list.

So, give me your ideas.

I must say thats pretty impressive. I've got tons on my list still, but I've got plenty of time (i hope lol). Most of it involves travelling (india, japan, ireland, scotland, germany, italy, ect.. Anywhere really) and museums across the world. I love history and art so those propel me to travel (eventually, when I've got the money :3).  I'm also fascinated by space, so thats on my bucket list too, though probably unfeasable. It's my ultimate item though.

I got so tired of travelling when I was consulting .... I have no desire to go anywhere!  I have been to a few foreign countries. I lived in Chile for a couple years. I taught some classes in GB and France for a while.  I loved Paris! The museums are fabulous!

I want to try to sky dive. I would love to take my son traveling. Not just around the states but some of the world. I want mostly to make a differance to people I react with. I want to show my son there is good in this world.

Getting an IGSA world ranking in women's down hill skateboarding would do for a start. After I manage that I can see about making an attempt on the world series. Would probably help to be sponsored to do that though.

Try these guys. Joe Maloof, in particular, is a fun guy to talk to (I have a PT job selling stuff for their basketball team).

I'd have to do a euro tour off my own back at the very minimum I think before I could even think about sponsorship. The really amusing thing is how small the world of women's DH is in the UK...there are literally 5 of us now I'm actively racing I know all of them and three of us skate in the same crew.

I've set a definite goal not to kick any stray buckets I find along the road to where ever. You never know what might crawl out from underneath and bite me in the not nearly broad enough butt.

Slightly more seriously - surgery is almost three months ago and I've been working on some sort of list, but there is absolutely so much to do I might cry over what gets left off or prioritized out of feasibility. It's maybe better to say, "What do I do next?" Otherwise you get things like 20 years ago saying "Go to Cape Canaveral and watch a shuttle launch." I once saw one from Orlando rocketing skyward (what's that, 50-75 miles? Up close would be nice. Also impossible now.

Remember, people are very open-minded about new things --- so long as they are exactly like the old ones.

This company plans to launch an unmanned craft from Canaveral with NASA's assistance (I believe they will eventually carry astronauts) sometime next year, I believe. Don't give up hope!

Got plans? I'll try to help you achieve them here, free! /pitch (lol)

All I want, all I REALLY want, is to get an agent. I write novels, memoirs and screenplays but it's impossible to sell anything without an agent. And it's impossible to get an agent without having sold something (catch 22 that drives me NUTS!!!)

There's so many things on my bucket list, acting, writing, music, politics, charity, ect ect I have an endless list of things I want to do, most all of which truly require confidence to do (transitioning). Other than transitioning in a physical manner, there's nothing holding me back.

Publish a graphic novel; several, actually. Right now, I'm still trying to work out my drawing style. Phase one of the whole plan is to make one into a webcomic.

Also to finish a video game. I've started several, but never finished them. I'm terrible at scripting and spriting, and I can never complete projects. I'd love to finish one and have people enjoy it.

Those are really my two huge "side projects", unrelated to surgery/academic/career goals.

Is being married that bad?

The old joke about divorce among guys is: Do you know why divorce is so expensive?  Because it's worth it.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
