It's cuz around 50% of boys and men out there have a different hormone regulation than the other %50. Practically two different species. Half the men out there develop every sort of secondary masculine trait possible (worse than a dang deer or moose, growing antlers out their forehead!) and some, like say Johnny Depp, haven't changed much since puberty. It's an all day explanation, so many things behind it. Best thing to do is get on anti-androgens the second you question your gender, because if it ends up being just a phase, you can quit the pills and your body goes right back to developing antlers.
And I'm starting to dislike my adams apple. It's not gigantic, but it makes me look like a goof ball and not at all like a girl. It has more to do with how the rest of my face looks side profile, but the apple sure doesn't help.
