I have been a member here for a long time, however I have not been a regular poster. I was a Moderator over at Laura's Playground until today. They took away my position because I am "mentally unstable" their words. I am an outspoken person and I will not stand for any kind of personal attack against me. I hope I can find friendship and support here at Susan's.

I should probably write a little bit more about me. I am a MTF transsexual. I started my transition in January of 2010. I started hormones a month later. After telling my parents in May of 2010 I went full-time on my 39th birthday July 1st 2010. It has been a hard road to get here, but I am generally pleased with how my life is going.

I am a Marine and so I get all of my medical care through the VA. Right now I am only getting hormones from them. I have asked for Gender therapy and they have said no. I have a court hearing on October 4th to get that straightend out.

I was just trying to be a man! It didn't work out very well for me, bu they can never take the title Marine away from me. I am proud of my service. Things went downhill from there for the next twenty years.
