I'm not sure if this is the correct section, but I'm curious if anyone else here is playing Dead Island on the PC.  It's pretty entertaining, but I haven't had a chance to do much with the multiplayer yet.

I was hoping to get it on the Xbox, I got a copy & my knackered old (2 yrs old) Xbox refused to play it, this has happened before with new games & each time a replacement disc worked fine, I went back to the shop to get a replacement & they were sold out, they told me that the whole of Bristol is sold out!!

2 weeks later & many of my Xbox friends still can't find a copy anywhere!! It would seem that this game is sold out throughout the UK 

Damn.  I haven't seen problems like that here since World of Warcraft was first released.  I wonder if it's just that popular, or due to the issues they've been having since release. 

I chose the PC version due to the first person perspective and need to aim, as I am terrible with controllers.  It's also convenient that you can download it right to your computer.  Luckily I haven't been a victim of any bugs yet, but I've only had a few hours to play it so far.

I've been told that it's because it's a small company that did published the game & they didn't anticipate such demand, never mind i'm getting gears of war 3 on friday, yay!

Yeah, lots of popular games coming out soon.  I only have room in the budget for Skyrim at the moment, but I'll eventually get around to the others.
