Hi all!

I am in the hospital, they put me on a diet to get my body ready for tomorrow morning where finally I get some parts fixed :)

Feeling good! Still a bit nervous because of stopping hormones (how long does it take to evil T to come back after stopping Androcur ? I hope this is all psychological :( )

Other than that I am excited and happy that my wait if almost over!

Hey all!

All good :) First few days were easy.

Today they removed the dilator for the first time for cleaning etc (surgery was on Tuesday, today Saturday, 4/5 days? depending how you count).

I started bleeding quite a bit suddenly a bit over an hour ago and they removed the dilator (still bleeding), they said it's ok but they want a doctor to check and he is unavailable right now.

I am relieved and feeling good, just worried for the time with the dilator out as it is not many days after the surgery (depth worries). Anyone had a similar experience?

Thingy is finally back in.

Overall since the surgery I am very happy :) Just this little bit of worry I mentioned now but other than that all is fine. Would still love if someone could answer previous questions though (I am a worrier type person)

Recovery is very smooth and doctor said it was just a blood vessel and is normal, just that the current nurse didn't properly.

Hey Myself,
One big humongous welcome to -- the Sisterhood --. You are finally here. It's not that you weren't before. This the final station in the journey. You were always a woman. Now it's official. Enjoy the rest of your life, as you should have been. Empower others to be the same.
Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

Your update gave me a scare at first. Happy to see that the bleeding was a simple complication.

Heal quickly.

Hi sweetie. That is great that you are past all that and your body is corrected to what it always should have been. I'm very happy for you. Have enjoyed your posts all these months.

Almost 3 weeks post surgery, home for a week and 2 days now :)

I must say I didn't expect the psychological effect to be so massive (and positive!) it just gave me so much calmness in a way and some sort of feeling of freedom and happiness :) even though I barely think of it if at all.

My healing I believe is going well, at least psychologically. Physically I am quite active again, still getting dizzy and tired here and there but I rarely had any pains since the surgery, some discomfort here and there but that's mostly due to the dilator, here they ask you to keep the dilator in 24/7 and only remove it 3 times a day for internal cleaning and dilator clean up + toilet times, odd!

I am hoping for good aesthetic results but I am not looking much now as I know it will take a while until it starts looking better due to being swollen etc.

I think I am pretty happy with depth, I haven't measured it or anything but the dilator they gave me (they give everyone the same set and they don'r seem to stress about depth much, I am using the biggest one) is 15cm long which is about 5.9 inch (isn't this just about the average vagina depth anyway?) I believe and I can get it all in and I am convinced I could have even more. I am not sure where or if I should get a longer one because of that but I never feel any difference or difficulty with the dilator which makes me wonder if all the depth loss panic is overrated as it just slides in nicely every time.

Anyway, overall I am pretty happy! I also like the fact the hospital is an hour from home and they have follow up, regular check ups and are there to help with any kind of trouble which hopefully won't be happening. They also deal with any cosmetic requirements of the place which might be needed, I am hoping to not need any though as I want to get back to my boyfriend in the UK :)

I had the massive bleed that got everyone worried although I was quite serene ...turned out it was old blood seeps that had been trapped in by the pack.
