I've always been super challenged in this area - of dress- . Even in the days when I dressed as a boy. (good lord. That was in the last millennium) Just couldn't get the colours or patterns right. Still can't.
Well. On my way to Canberra last week I stopped into Goulburn and had a personal fitting of several dresses by this well trained woman, and WOW !!!! She introduced me to a set of legs I never knew I had before. And as for that LBD (little black dress) size 16 she picked out. I didn't realise it was me in it. Me? In a size 16? Never bought anything that small before. At least she was very polite when referring to my dress style of my selection of day wear. "I should dress, age appropriate" was her comment. I think she really meant, STOP looking like your grandmother!!!!
Dress solution ? If you can't cut the cake, get an expert to cut it for you. Wow it makes the difference. I'm still flabbergasted. Try it. At least take a friend who has some dress sense.
My next visit, she'll pick out 5 items that can be mixed and matched to make the wardrobe last a week or more without repetition.
Come on girls .... lets rise to the challenge. LOL
Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
