I still haven't gotten around to trying an STP, but this one intrigues me and is cheaper than the Home Grown version I was looking at. Instead of a medicine spoon, the STP Fitz has a nipple. It sounds more comfortable to use than a spoon. Has anyone tried it?

I would like to know too cause on the LJ FTM site, they pretty harsh on him..

I myself use a travelmate, and have only leaked from it maybe once.. after i learned how to position it right.. and I only sit to pee if its the middle of the night and im tired.

so, travelmate works for me, but hey, i may try the bottle nipple thing

I like the nipple idea, it would be more comfortable than a spoon in your pants for sure. I wish he had smaller sizes though.

They're harsh on him because someone else posted a tutorial on how to make one on LJ and he later starts making them and he's trying to patent the idea of the nipple-stp.

But I've heard they're easier to use and 100% accident free from people who have them.

I made one like that long ago and it works and it is more comfortable in the short term. It can leak and if I remember right , he uses the large nipple and I used the small regular one with better results.

Yeah, in the picture, the nipple looks huge. But a medicine spoon is hard, and it looks uncomfortable to use. Not to mention that I would have it bumping into my privates all the time. At least, it looks that way.

Yup. Like I said, use the smaller nipple tho and you can actually get it to stay in place, sometimes for days with a little practice. After the first day or two it can be a tad uncomfortable but just take it out for a while and all is good again.

I got one. I ordered the med spoon option but got sent the nipple version on accident. I couldn't use the nipple so I changed it over to my old med spoon while I wait for the new tubing and receptacle to come. I tried but it was such a hassle.
The packer is really good though.

i use the travelmate stp+ packnplay packer i explained below ....but the nipple thing does look neat. they use the gv soft pack which is a definite plus. i just think 6-8 weeks delivery is a loooong time

I'm in australia and it came in 3weeks. Now you can buy them from stores though and they are cheaper and sent raight away.

I've tried the medicine spoon, not only is it uncomfortable for me, I can't get it to work.  Turkey baster method has been better, but even sawed off, it's bulky. 

Guess I'm kinda a year late on this, but figured the review would help.  I got my STP Fitz about two weeks ago, and I love it.  The shipping was super fast and its fairly easy to use.  For those who thinks the medicine spoon looks uncomfortable, its really not, the spoon actually pulls up vertical (I wear a harness) so its not down there unless I'm using it.  I got the 4 inch caramel and its perfect size and honestly a really good shade as well, and I'm pretty white.  I keep it well starched so it feels fine, the only qualm I have with it is that its not that durable.  I've only worn it for a week and its already showing some wear, I guess from rubbing against my jeans.  Idk if it would be better for the brief wearers or not, I only wear boxers.  Otherwise I think this is great and a really good investment.  It has boosted my confidence a lot, and I've never even really thought about packing before I looked into this.  If you're looking for a good STP packer, I'd give this one two thumbs up for sure. 

the nipple thing doesnt work for me. i made my own stp thats like a cross between a travel mate and a  whiz.

The nipple is approximately 2" in diameter.

It was patented by a gentleman in the community by the name of Scott R. back in 2005, who has me under his patent protection. He makes the non latex version called the Cyclone.
