A comet went into the Sun this past Sunday causing speculation that it may have triggered a new Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) that causes auroral displays.  This is a departure of the one that hit the sun earlier this year on this thread: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,98413.msg724240.html#msg724240
