Keaira you made me laugh.
If you can step back from the relative horror of it, yes it is pretty weird and funny for a bunch of guys to have this conversation. And it's why I use this site. Here I can recognize the absurdity without giving ammo to those who might think we're freaks who don't deserve rights.
And regarding the actual topic, I do like the fact that the period reminds me, every goddamned month, that I need to do whatever it takes to get on testosterone. I'm overly prone to complacency.
No I definitely feel at home here. To me, the people on here are the everyday normal people. Its a refuge away from the BS, the wrong name, pronouns and confused looks where I can be with people whom I dont have to explain myself and why I'm transitioning. I mean a Cis guy would probably freak out and panic if they woke up with a vagina and here, its just Tuesday. No Biggy. sure you dont like it but you're like "It's there, it's the bane of my existence. Moving on..."
I had this whole mental image of a high school for trans kids at various stages of their transition and a cis-gendered guy or girl transferring to the school who doesn't know about why the school is there Then picture the guy walking into the locker room and into a discussion like this. Or a Cis-gendered girl walking into a discussion among the girls about tucking, or learning to sound more feminine.
For once, we wouldn't be the oddball or outcast.
The thought actually made me happy all day. But even after reading these posts, even with all the mess and maintenance , I'd still trade this man-junk I have for all that hassle. But in the end it's not what's between your legs that makes you a man or a woman, it's your heart and soul. And you boys definitely have a lot of heart. ^_^
