Well, I've been to Perth - does that count? And my ex-wife's from Temora :).

Hi Fiona, and welcome to Susan's! We're a diverse and friendly bunch here (the head count is over 8200) - get into things as slowly or as quickly as you feel comfortable, I'm sure you'll find plenty of support here.

And be sure to check out these links for the bobby on the house rules:

Careful doll, Padma is a cute Pommie doll. :-* :-*
Who will try and lure you into the all England  v Australia Singing Test Matches.  She is of course is a spin singer, tweaks her tonsils and sings a wrongy, gets past your left defensive vocal cord and then you are just gargle.

Sorry I'll have to stop drinking coffee

Why I'm I nuts?

Hi Fiona,
WELCOME  -  home !! You are in the right place. You come from Mr. Rudd territory, not wishing to go off topic.
I'm an hour out of Sydney.
Lawdy doo-dee. Are the Aussies starting a 2 day conference on this thread?? Or is this a take over of Susan's?
You 'buggers' bought our Vegemite; so in retribution we are taking over Susan's LOL

Hey Cindy - what have they been putting in your coffee? I want some!! LOL. Lawdy doo-dee girl, you need to let your hair down more often.

Hey Xander - keep up the great job you are doing for Mexico err Melbourne and for the boys. (Sorry about the intercapital rivalry slip there) I hope everything is going your way.

Padma - yeah OK. a visit to Perth qualifies - I guess. But is that Temora NSW,you refer to?

Caitlin - Just watch out for those Canberra'ites. They are coming up from the south to take over. They have just had a conference and are besieged with call for more info and support. Canberra may be Aust. TG capital. Could be your influence Fiona, with Mr R an all.

Justme - You'll have to come up and join us for Transformal . It's a hoot. You'd love it.

Tracey -  Soooorrrry. You'll just have to sell up and come on over. At least if you "can't beat 'em, join 'em." LOL

Have a spectacular day Australia
Lotsa luv
Catherine

Fair question :) - I grew up Jewish, but I've been Buddhist instead for the last 20 years, and so I'm an ex-Jew, and I'm a gal. I suppose technically I'm an ex-Jewboy, since I'm ex- both Jew and boy, but it didn't sound as good ;).

And yes, CatherineSarah, Temora NSW on the Riverina, home of Paleface Adios - visiting there was like stepping back into the 50's, and I still remember the Temora cuisine: asparagus and sweet corn dip (made with tinned asparagus and corn) in a hollowed-out damper that my mother-in-law proudly made us :).

Well Padma; welcome to the flock. What an initiation - the asparagus and sweet corn dip  - straight out of the CWA (Country Womans Assoc [the ParaGovernment in residence] recipe book. Available from any CWA meeting for a gold coin donation LOL)
Got lost on the Olympic Way and ended up in Temora and hosted by a beautiful family while repairs were made to my car.
That certainly usurps Perth as a qualification. You may be 'ex' everything else, but you can't be ex Aussie. You're in the club. Next time Cindy is on, get her to chant that wonderful anthem she sang earlier. LOL
Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

I saw him in a shopping centre right after he got the boot. I thought he would be all shrimpy and friendly looking like on tv. He actually was putting out a really aggressive steely aura. I didn't have the guts to laugh that's for sure lol.
