Hi Elissa -
Wonderful question - thus far, 2 years into HRT, everything has been exceptional - especially progress with breast growth - Very early on in the first few months, they became much more sensitive, and even a little sore. They are a little sore now, even every day, but sometimes more so, if i have been giving them a little massage and personal attention (which i have become quite fond of doing sometimes) - sometimes they have been quite sore, and an occasional bump against them while working can really hurt pretty good sometimes. To be honest, thank god for a nice comfortable lightly padded bra - gives me a layer of protection from bumps that i really need as sensitive as they are.
My Endo is really happy - in fact a little stunned the last time i saw him - growth rate and mass had doubled just in the prior 6 months since i saw him last.
Not only that, but i have been lactating and able to express fluid from the nipples for at least the last 9-10 months - (that really freaked me out in a good, and frankly quite positive way - gave me a very tingly, sexy, and excited feeling deep in my guts) - he found this to be unusual, but all my tests showed perfect, and he chalked it up as typical for me (they all tell me i'm a little ahead of the normal standard curve in some ways)...
Told me (without really saying it openly) i was one of his very favorite patients because i am always so upbeat and happy to be there when i go to see him...I always try to make him smile or laugh - and a million times more comfortable in my own skin every time he's seen me now. He finds it very refreshing.
I am very happy thus far, wish it would go faster, but patience is the best virtue, as i am learning....
Sincerely,
Annagirl
