I know it sounds silly, but it's something I'd love to be able to do! I used to be able to, sadly this was pre-puberty. Sometimes I get frustrated that my voice is so limited. Is it possible to train your voice into being able to scream girly? lolz

Yep. It's harder to change your pitch with non-speech vocalizations, but it can be done. Altering how you laugh, cough, sneeze, scream, yell, etc. I'm still struggling with coughing, but the rest I can do. Basically if you can talk in a female voice, it should be possible to scream that way too, but it takes practice to learn how to do it right. Mostly it's trying to keep your throat and jaw relaxed, since the instinct is to tense up. And then reroute your voice through your head and away from your chest (so you get the right resonance), same way you do for talking.

Yea I feel like working out the voice would be one of the hardest things. It's kinda hard to imagine any other type of voice coming out of my mouth than the one I've been using for forever lol =P

She's right and it is a pain in the butt to learn.  I still can't do it but nobody questions my regular voice.  It honestly keeps me from laughing or screaming at all and it makes me sad.  I wish you better luck in your practice then I have had.

Omg I used to be able to up until I was 15.
Its funny because I was able to hit that pitch yet my regular talking voice was very deep.
My friends always laughed when I did it :]

Sadly it deepened even more and I can't go no where near that pitch at all.

Yes... it is possible... and it comes in handy at very specific moments. ;)

it makes sense that you would want to be able to do this, but i would just say screaming is actually bad for your larynx no matter what. naturally, i have a very female pitched voice, and even i lost alot of my range from having not screamed in a long time. i screamed alot when i was a child, but my voice later became much softer, so now when i scream, it is not nearly as piercing as what i could do as a child. i guess i just raise my voice to a yelling volume if i really need to, but screaming just strains your vocal chords. you would want your vocal chords in good condition for your feminine voice. i noticed lots of females have trouble yelling in loud environments, so screaming is basically the go to. i prefer to just go over to the person if it's too much.

Strangely ive heard many girls that dont sound like girls when they scream, especially when i used to go to an all girls school it was weird but many of them were not very feminine in general.
