I really hate when people respond to people asking for help, "google is your friend" or some variation of that. It's so condescending and snarky, not to mention absolutely useless.  I guess I'm trying to understand why someone would respond in this fashion, and instead just not respond at all.  Someone's asking for help.  Tell them of your personal experiences or knowledge.  EVERYONE knows about google.  If you feel like giving this answer, stop, think, and just don't answer, or at least be original about it.  I expect this sort of response on the nasty craigslist forums, not here.

I'll do it when I can find what the person is looking for by doing a simple search and the result I'm looking for is one the first page..

actually, your post was more condescending and snarky than JenJen's was. You disrupted the flow of info and you assumed the worst in her post. I read it entirely differently.

JenJen wasn't trying to be condescending at all. Do you know how many times I asked someone "did you Google it?" And they responded "oh, actually I didn't." It is not a bad thing for the person asking or the person receiving by that question.

Try not to assume the worse in someone just because of a forum post.

And your response to the OP's question was relevant how? I think you need to take your own advice.

The OP's question was simple. Help find her a doctor that performs tracheal shaves in South Africa. I did a quick search with "south africa tracheal shave" and on the first page, there were multiple doctors listed.

You can't expect people to hand feed you all the way through your transition. Google is a very useful tool which has the answers to most, if not all, of your questions. The answer could be a couple clips away but some people are too lazy to search.
