The only thing that I worry about is that teenagers are terrible people, and I already have to deal with a aLOT of **** for being "gay"

Depends on the situation and how far you want to go with it. I'm in a similar situation myself. I don't really want to go out and trick-or-treat this year (I really don't need all that candy), but I still kind of want to use Halloween as an excuse. My problem is that I want to do the freaking works. Get my eyebrows plucked, ears pierced, nails painted, arms and legs shaved, etc. On one hand I think it's the perfect excuse to get my body more femmed out. If someone is daring enough to ask why, I simply reply with, "It's for my Halloween costume!" On the other I'm a bit scared how others will react.

I say if you're willing to deal with any ->-bleeped-<- that comes your way, you should totally go for it. Trust me when I say that the straightest of straight guys dressed up as girls for Halloween plenty of times at my school and hardly got any ->-bleeped-<- for it. Some of them even looked really good! Others...Well, I'm not entirely sure why they would want to dress as a girl if they weren't going to put any real effort into it.

You should definitely go for it! :D

Sounds like lots of fun. I'm totally planning to dress up too, and go into shops and browse around and stuff. If you can't do it on Halloween, when can you? :)

Alright, this has been slightly keeping me up lol. I've been thinking about totally pulling off being a girl for Halloween. Everything just seems so much easier when I play it in my head and tell the people, if they ask, that it's for a "Halloween costume, and I never half-ass Halloween," even though I know it's much more long term than that.

I have money now. I'm thinking of using it to feminize my hairstyle and possibly get my brows waxed, as well as to buy some makeup and an outfit or two, as well as razors to finally get rid of my nasty body hair. Maybe get my nails done too (although they're not too long right now, maybe about 1/4 of an inch at most). The more I think of the possibilities the more excited I get! I don't even care that I'm on the chubby side right now :D.

Eve of chaos

I had this very same idea and planned to use it as my first experience out.
I'm gonna do a theme with some friends. were gonna be characters form pokemon and I'm planning on being misty :p

I just tried on a bunch of honey bee dress costumes that fit all weird, the people at the stores don't care, they think it's fun! (except she kept trying to hand me dresses a size too big, she was jealous.)

In years past I tried devil and fairy ones too.  Do it, give it a spin.

Hi,

By all means go for it.
But also think about just doing it anyway. Shaving, waxing your body etc is pretty damn normal. Wearing nail polish is normal. How far out are you girls?  I still have to present as male sometimes but I have double ear piercing's, my eyebrows are shaped, my nails are polished.  No one has ever made a comment. If they did, so what?

Confidence ladies, confidence. Just do it.
And Happy Halloween

Hugs

I do have a friend having a zombie party. Originally everyone had to dress as a zombie. Now you have to dress as a zombie in fancy dress.

Should be fun stopping for drinks on the way

The only way for you to decide is to sit and think:

What's the worst that can happen?

What's the best that can happen?

If you are just starting transitioning. I think this will be good practice to experiment with what works and what doesn't. Also, you can gage the reactions of others around you...

Just post pics afterwards and don't forget to WERQ

I was thinking of doing the Hallowe'en thing as an "excuse" to dress as I wish, since I'm not out and still attempting to fit in to the gender everybody's always expected of me.

But then I got a request to work that night. And I don't know if I can do it around people at work yet, especially when I'm trying to work. But I hate dressing up for Hallowe'en, so if I'm expected to be costumed while I work, that's probably the "costume," I'll go with. (Of course, then I'll overthink it and wonder if I should do a sub-standard job...but then, I think my wife is the only one here who knows the strength of my Hallowe'en hating.)

I really agree with you there. Doing that would be making a parody. Moreover, it would be seen as poking fun as women and transgender.

If I were in your position and having thought about this carefully, I would go as the best girl I could be. I'd pull out every stop. I spend whatever I could get my hnads on. I would go, showing respect for others and myself.

I definately wouldn't try to look provokative, sexy or especially tarty and available. I'd go as the best person I know who exists. Me.
