How many of those are actually pics of the celebs without their makeup and how many are just look-alikes? I'd like to think none of them are look-alikes but I suspect it's the other way 'round.

I once saw in a magazine and on a poster a picture of Christina Aguilera with no make-up on and she scared me slightly.......

Makeup can make a massive difference in those with not well defined features (not deep eye orbit, low nose bridge, light eyebrows and almost skin colored lips ). This is often the case for blondes; my experience is that in blonds, makeup makes a huge difference in attractiveness.

In women like peneloppe Cruz, it makes less of a difference.

In my case, the difference between wearing makeup and not, is not that huge since my eyes, nose and lips and eyebrows are very well defined already.

Yeah, Tink, I already have the long neck, think of the time they'd save by not having to make mine longer... :-).

Initially, she didn't look that great, they probably put makeup on her to make her look frumpier. Even at the end, I wasn't that enthoused by the look. Most models look better than that initially, at least the ones I am familliar with.

Give me a candid shot of Scarlet Johansson on the red carpet vs that photo any day of the week.

If you want to practice, go to Glamour Shots.  They take forever just to do the makeup.  You're already exhausted by the time you step in front of the camera.

lol that is so true about blondes. With most natural blondes, all their features are very pale, even their lips. That's why I always say brunettes are prettier.

Diana and Courtney should just get their makeup tattooed on! Yeek! The others just turn back into normal people. What a difference a $1000/hr. makeup artist can make.
Now, where's my eyeliner...?
