Oh my my....I itch!!!! I'm going a bit stir crazy...I want to sleep more but I'm not tired enough to sleep...I don't think I actually need more sleep though maybe I do...I haven't slept well since surgery. I'm up and down and up and down all night.
I need to shower but technically I'm not suppose to yet.
I want to go out and do something. Not anything big or anything just...something. I'm nit ready yet though and I believe it would likely be a very bad idea.
I think I need to change my dressing bandages...I'll need help with that. Not sure if I'm suppose to change them yet but the wrap he put on is so so itchy!!! my mom bought these soft gauze square that aren't anywhere near as itchy.
People have asked if my back feels better and...so far I haven't really noticed. Lol!! My front is taking all of my attention. My neck keeps tensing as I deal with healing. Healing is itchy business. It's all I can think about. And a shower. I'd really like a shower. If I had water proof bandaids I could take a shower...hmmmm.

Thank you for asking Ativan :)
The dr's put drains in to help keep the swelling and fluid down. I didn't care for the drains at all...they were somewhat heavy and cumbersome on my body. i called the surgeon on Saturday and asked if we could take the drains out early. He was fine with that. So i drove myself down to his office (perhaps not my brightest idea ever...but we made it safely.) he removed them, looked at my breasts and declaired that everything looked great. I saw a little bit in the mirror but was quickly oberwhelmed by everything so didn't look too much or too close.
I had a bit of a melt down that afternoon and it wasn't fun. I talked through it with Cyndi and then called my beatie and talked theough it with her and the  fell asleep for a nice nap. I felt so much better after the nap!!

Sunday was laid back and relaxed. I don't think we did anything at all...though my sister and her family came over for dinner expecting me to be social.ast thin i wanted to do was be social. My BiL is anti "fat people"...i can't explain it but he works out a ton, talks about old pictures of himself as being from "when i was fat" though i would say he never really was...he makes me uncomfortable because i feel very judged by him for my weight/size. I was glad when they left. Who wants to socialize a few days after surgery and still all doped up on pain meds.
I was able to get a shower on Monday and that was awesome. Felt very nice.
Tuesday we headed back home. We'd intended to stop about half way so I didn't have to drive for eight hours in one day...but we took it slow and I was feeling mostly fine so we got home yesterday. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed and shower in my own tub! I've been cuddling with my dogs all day. For the most part I've felt pretty good today. Swelling is down, the bruising is calming down some and the pain is lessening.
I measured myself this morning and I'm now a 38C instead of my previous 42DDD woohoo!
