I learned from sending an anonymous e-mail to the bishop of my diocese that the Catholic Church will not recognize someone as being transgendered and have a formal policy about transgendered people. I decided to leave after feeling so unaccepted. What's the Episcopal Church's policy about transgendered people? I was thinking of going to that church instead.

Amongst the most "liberal" in the US. An added benefit to a Catholic is that the service/mass should be almost identical. With theological differences not as great as the mainline Protestants Churches.
